Along with the 20 unique fish, the Everturn Forest is also home to two strong, powerful rods called the Splitbranch Twig and the Spirit of the Forest. Both of these are quest-related rods that must be finished in order to obtain one. Here is a detailed guide to obtaining both rods so you can add them to your equipment bag.
How to get the Splitbranch Twig Rod in Fisch

The first rod you can target after reaching the Everturn Forest is the Splitbranch Twig. For this, you need to catch five fish with a perfect rating at night. A perfect rating is achieved by filling the casting bar to 100% when you throw your line. So, correctly catch five fish with the perfect rating to spawn the Splitbranch Twig rod underneath the tree at GPS (2446, 154, -2368). Pay C$25,000, and the rod is all yours. Remember, if you still have not unlocked the Everturn Cloak, I recommend fishing on any high terrain or even on top of trees to avoid getting attacked by the Oaklings.

How to get the Spirit of the Forest Rod in Fisch
The Spirit of the Forest is obtained as a drop by finishing the two quests offered by the Thalor Virewood at the Everturn Forest. You can meet the NPC at the start of the area at GPS (2386, 145, -2436). Speak with him to start Quest 1.

Thalor Virewood - Quest 1: Catch 5 Unique Fish at Everturn Forest
This one is pretty easy, as all you have to do is catch 5 different unique fish in the Everturn Forest. Equip any rod of your liking and go to the central pond area or the waterfall near the Shipwright to start fishing inside the Everturn Forest. Within 5 to 10 minutes, you can easily catch 5 different fish. If you are still struggling, I recommend checking out our Everturn Forest Bestiary guide, which lists all the fish. After finishing, return to the NPC to receive the Everturn Cloak.
Thalor Virewood - Quest 2: Catch and return 1 Rotting Glaciaseer Sturgeon, Floraseer Sturgeon, Solariseer Sturgeon, or Umbraleaf Sturgeon
The second is a little tricky, as you must catch one of the following Sturgeon with the Rotting Mutation. For this, equip the Splitbranch Twig rod and use any bait with high luck, such as Gold Worm or Obsidian Bone, then start fishing. With time, you will get one or the other Sturgeon that you must return to the Thalor Virewood to get the Spirit of the Forest Rod.
