How to get the Submarine in Fisch – Drill, Obsidian Rocks and More

One of the most essential things you require to reach the newly added Mariana's Veil POI is the Submarine. Unlike other vehicles in Fisch, you cannot purchase the item using in-game money; instead, it requires you to build the entire boat from the base using resources. So, if you are new to the game and don't know how to get a Submarine, let me explain to you in detail.

How to Build a Submarine in Fisch

You can construct or build a Submarine only when the Mariana's Veil is Open at the Roslit POI. So, get on your boats and travel to the (-1309, 132, 312) to reach the Roslit landmark, where you can find the Dr.Glimmerfin at the coast. Speak with him if the Veil is open, and he will ask you to embark on a quest that revolves around mining out resources using a drill to build the Submarine.

At the end of the conversation, you will be provided with the Drill, which you can equip from the taskbar or your bag. The resources or materials required to make a Submarine are listed below.

• Submarine Top
• Side Fins
• Back Fins
• Metal Panels

Now, go to the middle parts of the Roslit Bay or edges of Roslit Hamlet to find Obsidian Rocks, as shown in the above images. With the help of your Drill, you can start mining the resources or these parts directly from the Rocks. After each Drill, you may get either a random part mentioned above or nothing. So, you have to keep drilling these rocks one by one until you collect all these five parts. This will take quite a while as the drop rate for each of these parts is only 5%, and you cannot trade for these items with other players. During my run, it took nearly 90 minutes for me to accumulate all the items, even after playing on a server with increased luck. All I can say is to be patient and keep grinding.

Once you have all the parts, you can keep them one by one in the silhouette of the Submarine next to the Glimmerfin NPC to make the Submarine. At the end, speak with the NPC to finish the quest and use the Submarine.

Submarine Controls and Showcase

Though the method of procurement of the Submarine is different, it still operates and moves like a regular boat in Fisch. To spawn one, you can speak with any of the Shipwright NPC on any island and go to the bottom of the list to find the Submarine.

After hopping inside, you will find several seats along with the driver's seat from where you can sit and drive the boat. Also, there is a latch on top with a connecting ladder that allows you to reach the top and leave the ship.

For movement, you can use the regular WASD to move the ship while using Q to Descend and E to Ascend under the water.
