How to get to Lakeshire in Rune Slayer

After playing Rune Slayer for a while and unfolding the layers to the game, you'll realize there are various regions and biomes. Sooner or later, you may want to visit the Lakeshire area for a quest or to explore. Whatever be the reason, this guide will help you get to the region which isn't situated too far away.

Rune Slayer Lakeshire Location Guide

After the altercation with the Vampiric Dragon Lord, you'll spawn in a village called Wayshire. To get to Lakeshire, firstly, exit the village following the path that leads to the north. Once in the Wilderness, start walking in the northwest direction by referring to the compass at the top of your screen. In the forest, you'll come across animals like deer and slimes that you can pet and even ride with proper equipment.

Regardless, cross these creatures and climb a few rocks until you find the river. The river hosts a large crocodile which is very dangerous and can devour you if you're not careful. You need to swim across the river while avoiding the reptile. Just don't go near it and cross the water quickly to survive. On the other side of the river, look for an opening that leads to Lakeshire (indicated in the image above with the arrow marker). You'll then find a guarded entrance to the small village of Lakeshire.

What to do at Lakeshire in Rune Slayer

Although Lakeshire isn't as happening as Wayshire, there's much to discover on this part of the map. You can visit the Guild building and enroll yourself as an Adventurer's Guild member by talking to the receptionist. You can then complete tasks for this faction. The village also houses several other NPCs, including Philip the Angler, who gave me the task to fetch a Clownfish for him.

The Lakeshire town also has other basic amenities like the storage to store extra items, an inn to set spawn point, a crafting table, and a cooker. At the far end of the village, you'll find an elevator operated by the NPC Roland (see image above). Ask him to call it in, hop on quickly, and you'll be taken to the Knight's Templar. You can also access the Beastmen Camp from there and fight the Vangar boss for a chance to get the Dual Weapons Skill Book.
