Acquiring Weapons in Grimoires Era Explained

In the Grimoires Era, we have the option to diverge from the traditional magic user path by choosing to wield swords and rely on physical strength. The process of obtaining your first weapon, particularly a sword, can be approached in two ways:

• Purchasing directly using Robux: Essentially a pay2win option, which I don't really endorse.
• Earning through gameplay by defeating bosses: Not only is this one more honorable, but it also saves you a pretty penny.

Free Method to Get a Sword in Grimoires Era

If you're not into spending in-game currency, you can still get your hands on some swords by taking on certain bosses in the game. It's a freebie, but it does demand a bit of patience and some good old-fashioned determination because boss loot doesn't drop all that often. My very first weapon find was the Mace, and I got it by taking down the game's initial boss, The Evil Old Man. You'll find this boss by following a quest from Quest Giver 1, who's chilling near the bandits at the spawn point. Happy boss-busting!

Grimoires Era currently offers four distinct weapons for players to acquire. A word of caution: I could only confirm how to get to the first weapon, Mace.

For those seeking a straightforward and immediate way to acquire a weapon, the Imperial Sword is available in the game's shop for 890 Robux. Opting for this method provides instant access to a weapon that is considered a strong choice within the game's context, but it's pricey. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only way to obtain this weapon.
