In Grow A Garden, the main requirement to mutate your pets is to make them reach level 50. While these may sound easy, it is incredibly challenging even to make a single pet reach level 50. So, here is a detailed guide for all the confused and struggling players to easily level up their pets to start mutating.
All Tips and Tricks to Level Up Your Pet in Grow A Garden
Below, I have mentioned several methods to quickly level up your pets in Grow A Garden for much faster/quicker growth of your Pets. Just follow these tips, and you'll soon be on your way to mutating your first pet.
Pet Toys

In the Pet Mutation Update, the developers have introduced a separate set for your pets in Grow A Garden that increases their XP, happiness rating, and even passive abilities, allowing for a much smoother growth of your Pets. You can purchase these items from the Gears Shop or Craft Table using ingredients.

Levelup Lollipop
The Levelup Lollipop is an exclusive Prismatic-type item in Grow A Garden that increases the level of your pet by +1 each time you consume the item. This is only available in the Gear Shop and sells for around C$500 million Sheckles. Whenever you find this item, purchase it and store it in your inventory to help those pets that are very close to reaching the 50-level mark.
Feeding Your Pets

The Pets Level Up much more quickly in Grow a Garden if you feed them in a timely manner. You can check the hunger ratings using the View option while selecting the pet. If it is low or near zero, feed them using any of the fruits or crops growing in your Garden. Ensure this bar is always full and never reaches zero. I follow a routine of checking my pet's hunger ratings and feeding them regularly before logging out of the game.
Using XP-Based Pets
There are several Pets in Grow A Garden that provide XP boosts to other pets, allowing them to age quickly. This includes the likes of Iguanodon, Night Owl, Blood Owl, and More. I recommend using our Pets Passive Guide for Grow A Garden to identify such Pets for your Garden.
