As of the Celestial Heights Update, there are only two mutations in Jump for Animals: Gold (4x) and Purple Aurora (2x). The Gold Mutation can be obtained from the Mutation Machine, while the Purple Aurora Mutation can be obtained by hatching mutated eggs found during the Purple Aurora Event.

What Are All The Mutations in Jump for Animals

As of the Celestial Height Update, there are two mutations that can affect your pets in Jump for Animals. The table below lists both the mutations and their respective multipliers.

How to Get Mutations on Pets in Jump for Animals

There are two ways to get pets with mutations in Jump for Animals: Mutation Machine and Mutated Eggs. The Mutation Machine can add the Gold mutation, and Mutated Eggs will hatch pets with the Gold and Purple Aurora mutations.

How to Use the Mutation Machine in Jump for Animals

The Mutation Machine in Jump for Animals can be found in the Pen area, right next to the Coils Shop. You can use this machine to get pets with the Gold mutation. Here’s how to use the Mutation Machine in Jump for Animals:

  • Add five of the same pets to your inventory.
  • Go towards the Mutation Machine.
  • Add the five pets to the machine one after the other.
  • The machine will take some time to merge all five pets into one with the Gold mutation.

Once the machine’s timer hits zero, you can claim your Gold pet. This is an extremely useful machine because it not only adds a mutation to your pet but also frees up space in your Pen.

How to Get Mutated Eggs in Jump for Animals

You can get mutated eggs in Jump for Animals during the Purple Aurora Event. This event spawns after the Training Frenzy Event and lasts for 7 minutes. While this event is active, eggs with the Purple Aurora mutation will spawn in all areas of the map. 

Collect as many of these mutated eggs as you can while this event is active. Once the event is over, you can start placing them in your pen to hatch them and get mutated pets.

When you hatch a mutated egg, you’ll get a pet that has the Gold mutation as well as the Purple Aurora mutation.

No, there’s currently no way to only get the Purple Aurora Mutation in Jump for Animals. When you hatch a Purple Aurora mutated egg, the pet will always have both the Gold and the Purple Aurora mutation.

How to get Gold Pets in Jump for Animals?

To get Gold Pets in Jump for Animals, you need to place five identical pets in the Mutation Machine. For example, if you want to get a Gold Bunny, you need to place five base Bunny Pets in the Mutation Machine. Once the timer hits zero, you’ll get one Gold-mutated Bunny.
