There are seven unique fighting styles in Kabuki, with the best one being Muy Thai. This is because it deals immense damage with its extremely fast attacks that will allow you to chain combos and always stay on the offensive. The worst ones are Boxing and Silat, since the former is a starting style that gets overshadowed quickly, and the latter is an underwhelming, clunky Legendary style that is immensely difficult to obtain.
Kabuki offers several different fighting styles, each tailored towards different strengths and weaknesses. However, while all are perfectly usable in their own right, they are not created equal, with some standing well above others. With that in mind, we created this Kabuki fighting style tier list to help you understand which ones are worth pursuing and which ones you should avoid, so keep reading to learn more!
What Do the Tier Rankings Mean in Our Kabuki Fighting Style Tier List?
We ranked the Fighting Styles in Kabuki based on their combat effectiveness and how accessible they are to players. We considered factors such as attack speed, damage output, and how difficult each style is to obtain. The third metric matters especially, since Kabuki styles can only be acquired through the in-game gacha system, meaning some are nearly impossible to get. That said, fighting styles that let you attack faster and deal more damage obviously ranked higher, while styles that are easier to unlock were also favored over those requiring significantly more luck and rolls. Keep in mind that individual placements may change as the game receives updates.
- S-Tier fighting styles offer the best overall performance, combining blazingly fast attack speeds with excellent damage output. They are the strongest choices for combat because they let you keep pressuring your opponent, giving sizeable advantages to players who can get their hands on them.
- A-Tier fighting styles are highly effective, offering serious damage and fast attacks. Although they may fall slightly behind S-Tier options overall, they remain excellent choices for players looking to maximize their combat potential.
- B-Tier fighting styles provide a solid balance of damage, attack speed, and accessibility. While they may lack the outstanding performance of higher-tier styles, they can still be effective, especially for players who want a dependable fighting style without excessive grinding.
- C-Tier fighting styles are mediocre. While they may offer some useful advantages, they tend to lag behind in damage output, attack speed, and overall effectiveness. They may still be worth using, especially if they are easier to obtain than stronger alternatives.
- D-Tier fighting styles currently provide the least overall value. They generally have poor move sets or other disadvantages that make them less effective than higher-tier options. Replace them as soon as you can.

Which Fighting Styles are S-tier in Kabuki?
| Fighting Style | Why this Tier |
|---|---|
![]() Muy Thai | + Fastest M1 attacks in the game. This is by far the most important attribute in Kabuki, since this will ensure that you can chain combos + Deals loads of damage + Powerful heavy attack + Relatively easy to obtain + Endorsed by loads of players on the game's official Discord server − None |
Which Fighting Styles are A-tier in Kabuki?
| Fighting Style | Why this Tier |
|---|---|
![]() Taekwondo | + Blisteringly fast attacks + Deals plenty of damage + Has slightly longer attack range than some of the other styles due to it relying on kicks + Extremely easy to obtain, since it comes in Rare rarity + Many players swear by this style in Kabuki's Discord server − Ever so slightly slower attacks than Muay Thai, but still very fast. |
![]() Karate | + Very fast attacks + Good damage + Close-range menace due to a wide array of smooth attacks which constantly leave opponents guessing as to when your combo actually ends + Very easy to obtain, since it also comes in Rare rarity − Slightly overshadowed by Muay Thai when it comes to attack speed − Slightly lesser range than Taekwondo |
Which Fighting Styles are B-tier?
| Fighting Style | Why this Tier |
|---|---|
![]() Sumo | + Provides arguably the most damage out of all fighting styles in Kabuki + Powerful knockdown-heavy attack that synergizes well with the main combo + Pairs extremely well with other fast styles − Tricky to obtain due to it being Epic rarity − Slow, telegraphed attacks that are easy to dodge − Currently bugged: players taller than 5'11 will find that most hits they try to dish out do not register, due to the animation of the style constantly pushing them backward. Once this gets fixed (which will likely happen soon since the developers are aware of this problem), you can consider this class A-tier |
