As of July 2026, there are 19 Traits you can roll for in Manhwa Legends. The absolute game-changing ones are as follows: Legend, because of the monstrous DMG increase paired with SPA and Range; Ruler, due to the trait's unique ability to turn your units' element into Angelic; Limit Break cause it's another DPS, SPA, and Range killer combo; Assassin, because of the insane Crit Chance and Crit Damage Bonus.
It's time to grind for the Best Traits in Manhwa Legends, and what better way to decide than comparing notes with our Tier List, with all of them ranked. Rolling for a meta unit is only half of the equation, and it is essential to match each character in your inventory with a trait that can enhance all its abilities. You'll definitely thank us once your team becomes indestructible and lethal.
What Do the Rankings Mean in Our Manhwa Legends Trait Tier List?
While creating and ranking the Trait Tier List in Manhwa Legends, we took into account how much each trait affects the overall performance of units, how it influences buffs, and how it interacts with passive abilities. The end goal is to turn your rockstar units into killing, untouchable machines, so for this purpose, the rarity and how likely it is to reroll for it were excluded.
- S Tier (4) - Traits that turn your unit into a beast that can shred all enemies regardless of stage level
- A Tier (4) - Traits with specific abilities that can be utilized both individually and to boost other units on the team
- B Tier (4) - Traits that give a solid advantage and can still help clear a stage if used properly
- C Tier (3) - Traits that have that "better something than nothing" feel, but should be rerolled as soon as possible
- D Tier (4) - Traits that have no impact on the gameplay, and should be switched immediately
Manhwa Legends Trait Tier List
Manhwa Legends S Tier (Meta Traits)
| Trait | Bonus | Why This Tier |
|---|---|---|
![]() Legend | +300% DMG -15% SPA +15% Range Max 1 Placement | Legend is definitely the biggest game-changer in the game. Your best DPS units become a damage-dealing monster due to the +300 DMG, while other bonuses just help them be faster and more lethal. |
![]() Ruler | -10% SPA +20% Range Element Changes to "Angelic" | This trait is another showstopper once your unit's element is changed to Angelic due to its enemy-ability canceling. The SPA and Range make your best units untouchable. |
![]() Limit Break | +35% DMG -10% SPA +25% Range +25% Cost | The Range Boost, paired with the additional damage and seconds per attack, is a killer combo your DPS units can utilize to the fullest. A tip we can offer to mitigate the cost increase is to have a good farming unit at the ready, so that you don't even feel this downside by mid-game. |
![]() Assassin | +40% Crit Chance +60% Crit Damage | This trait makes your crit units insane because it dramatically increases both Crit Chance and Crit Damage. Since there are a lot of units with this perk, rerolling for it is definitely worth it. |
Manhwa Legends A Tier (Great Traits)
| Trait | Bonus | Why This Tier |
|---|---|---|
![]() Boss Slayer | +20% DMG +25% DMG to Bosses | If your gameplay is raid-oriented or if you want to clear the most difficult stages, Boss Slayer helps you annihilate them without much difficulty. |
![]() Swiftness | -10% SPA Every 4th Attack hits twice | This trait is best used on units with passive abilities that activate each time they hit an enemy. |
![]() Hustler | +20% more Won for Farm Units +20% more Won for Takedowns | Use this trait to play it smart and roll on farming units to further increase your income for expensive deployment units. |
![]() Exposure | +25% DMG to Enemies under Status Effects Status Effects deal +10% more Damage | The perfect trait if your team has units that use Burn, Bleed, and other such effects. |
Manhwa Legends B Tier (Good Traits)
| Trait | Bonus | Why This Tier |
|---|---|---|
![]() Sunderer | +15% DMG -10% SPA +5% Range | Overall, a solid mix that can boost your best DPS unit, especially if you're just starting out. |
![]() Ranger | +25% Range | A great advantage when it comes to positioning and dealing damage from a safe distance, thus keeping your unit out of harm's way for a good amount of time. |
![]() Marksman III | +15% Range | Less distance than Ranger, but it still gives you that head start, which is important, especially in the early game. |
![]() Fighter III | +12.5% DMG | This trait can still be counted as solid due to its damage boost. It can still affect the gameplay. |
Manhwa Legends C Tier (Weak Traits)
| Trait | Bonus | Why This Tier |
|---|---|---|
![]() Rogue III | -10% SPA | If you have nothing better, a speed boost is an ok trait to have, especially on units with passives that activate on hit. |
![]() Marksman II | +12.5 Range | You still get some range with this trait, but nothing to write home about since the enemies can get to you relatively easily. |
![]() Fighter II | +10% DMG | Any damage is better than no damage, but you should definitely reroll for a better trait. |
Manhwa Legends D Tier (Unusable Traits)
| Trait | Bonus | Why This Tier |
|---|---|---|
![]() Rogue II | -7.5% SPA | This amount of additional attack speed is barely noticeable and does not really do anything for your units. |
![]() Marksman I | +10% Range | Truly poor range advantage, to the point where you're cooked sooner rather than later. |
![]() Fighter I | +7.5% DMG | Compared to all the other damage-increase traits, this one barely makes a difference. Reroll for something better as soon as you can. |
![]() Rogue I | -5% SPA | The worst trait of them all is one that makes absolutely no difference to any aspect of the game. And this one does just that. |
