As each new update is added to Pet Simulator X, the list of rare pets and the scroll bar inside the experience seem to do nothing but grow. In this list, we'll be going over some of the rarest pets in Pet Simulator X and explaining how you can (or in some cases, used to be able to) obtain them.

Top two rarest pets of all time

Out of all of the pets in Pet Simulator X, the rarest one is the Rainbow Huge Pegasus. This pet is only owned by one person and was purchased as an NFT in 2021 for around $23,000 USD. This pet is now up for sale by its current owner for 1.7 million USD.

Rainbow Huge Pegasus

The second rarest pet in Pet Simulator X is the Blue BIG Maskot pet due to its expensive requirements. To receive this pet, players need to dress their Roblox avatar to reflect the style of Pet Simulator X developer BuildIntoGames. This may not seem like a hefty request until it's mentioned that the headband that the developer wears will cost you at least $1,500 USD to purchase from the avatar shop. The developer himself is reselling over 50 of these headbands for a price of 1.7 million USD each.

Though this pet is adorable, and everyone loves a collectible, few players have the Blue BIG Maskot pet, or even blink an eye at it, because of how pricey it is.

The rest of the pets mentioned below are also exceptionally rare but can be obtained in slightly more reasonable ways.

Exclusive Pets

Exclusive pets require some sort of purchase to obtain, whether with Robux through the in-game Exclusive Store or with real money by purchasing an official BIG Games stuffed animal or toy. Five of the rarest exclusive pets are listed below.

    • This pet became glitched and was distributed heavily by dupers. Because of this, finding the original, non-glitched and non-duped version of this pet is very rare

• Doge
  • How to obtain:
    • No longer obtainable, was purchasable in the Exclusive Shop for 500 Robux

Mythical Pets

Mythical Pets are the rarest pets that players can hatch from Eggs. Though not confirmed, it's been estimated by players that the chance of hatching a Mythical Pet can be as low as 0.000001%. Though there is another level below Rare, each Basic level pet is highly obtainable, so they all have around the same rarity. That's not to say that Basic pets can't still be awesome companions, however, because they definitely can!
