UpliftGames announced on Monday, Nov. 16, 2021, that they are adding a new update to the game as part of a crossover event with the Sing 2 movie. The event will involve a new stage area, a treasure hunt, and more. On Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, The Sing 2 Update will arrive in the world of Adopt Me. The event will be available in the game until Dec. 1, 2021.
The announcement came in a video on the PlayAdoptMe Youtube channel. While explaining the event to come, viewers were shown snippets of the upcoming event. The clips included a large stage with a Sing 2 sign adorning it, a tease at the Buster Moon character, as well as a peek at the Galaxy Explorer helmet.
While participating in the Sing 2 event, your character will be tasked with finding a list of varied items, all of which are related to the Sing 2 movie. Once your character has completed the quest and found all of the items in the scavenger hunt, you can be rewarded with the Galaxy Explorer Helmet accessory for your pet.
Sing 2 is the second installment in the Universal Pictures created Sing franchise. The sequel will continue the wacky antics seen in the first comedy-musical movie. This event in Adopt Me exists to help promote the release of the movie, which comes to theaters on Dec. 22, 2021.
