Cat Battles has 11 abilities players can unlock by spending Gold or buying Robux bundles. Top abilities include Nine Lives, Shark Attacks, Hairball & more. Players can equip only one ability at a time and can reuse it during a match, depending on its cooldown.
Beyond your mechanical skills, your character's Ability is the biggest factor in any Cat Battles match. Abilities like Dash or Pounce may look good in the first few rounds, but they fall short against tougher opponents. All Cat Battles Abilities, Ranked
Below, I rank all Cat Battles Abilities by overall effectiveness in battle, ease of use & cost. If you are a beginner, try to target abilities from the C or B Tier. Intermediate players should equip anything from the A Tier. But if you want to dominate the Lobby and win every 1v1 at the end, equip something from the S-Tier.

How to get Abilities in Cat Battles
You can always unlock any Abilities in Cat Battles by spending Gold. To do this, press the Inventory (Bag Icon) in the main Lobby. From the list of available Abilities, select one and pay the required Gold Coins. Remember, some of the Abilities are only available as part of a Bundle. For those Abilities, visit the Shop and buy the entire Bundle with Robux. These Bundles mostly contain Trails, Emotes, Furs, Finishers & Abilities.
Once you have unlocked an Ability in Cat Battles, you can always equip it from the Abilities section.
