Roblox Error Code 103 – How to fix

Running into an error code on Roblox is never fun, and most definitely not ideal, especially when you're just trying to play with your friends but it seems like nothing is working! For those who play Roblox on Xbox, like myself, you've likely run into one specific error code many times (error code 103) and haven't had any luck when trying to fix it. If you look online, people tell you to disconnect and reconnect to your internet, reset your console, or even delete Roblox entirely and re-download it again. None of these fixes ever work, so what do I do now, is Roblox broken? Don't worry, I have the short, sweet, and simple answer.

What is Error Code 103 in Roblox and How to Fix it

The 103 Error Code occurs when players using the Roblox app on an Xbox attempt to join an experience that's exclusive to PC/Mobile, and cannot be played on the console. When this error appears on your screen, you will receive the following message: "The Roblox game you are trying to join is currently not available."

Unlike other Roblox error codes you may receive when trying to load the website or enter an individual experience, there is no way to fix error code 103. This is because it's not even really an error at all, but rather a message simply letting you know that the experience you're trying to join isn't compatible with the Xbox, and that a version of it hasn't been formatted/made for the console.

When this "error" appears, simply close it and select a different experience, one that you know will work on Xbox. Upon doing so, you should load in like normal, indicating that error 103 is specific to experience/console compatibility, and isn't a normal error that correlates to broader issues with your account, app, console, or Roblox itself.
