All the animals in your zoo in Raise Animals can catch different types of Mutations from the various Weather Events. These Weather Events occur randomly, twice every hour, and last for 5 minutes. What Are Mutations in Raise Animals?
Your animals in Raise Animals can be affected by Weather Events, which will change their appearance and increase their overall value. This is called a Mutation, and it happens completely randomly. You don’t have to do anything to get a Mutation on your animal. Just play the game during a Weather Event and pray for some luck.
Each Weather Event has a certain chance of affecting your animals. An animal can also gain multiple mutations. In that case, the multipliers will stack and exponentially increase the earnings and value of that animal.
Apart from Weather Events, there are event-specific Mutations too, like the Haunted Mutation, which will only be available during the Raise Animals Halloween Event.

All the Weather Events will last for exactly 5 minutes and occur at XX:00 and XX:30. Any of the above-listed Weather Events can occur at those times. Join the Raise Animals Discord and join the #weather channel to receive notifications of when a Weather Event gets activated.
The Eclipse Weather Event is a developer weather event. If you want to get the mutation on your animals, you have to join the game during Admin Abuse, which usually happens before the weekly update.

How to Spawn the Haunted Weather Event in Raise Animals?
With the latest Halloween Update, the developers added the Haunted Mutation to the game. Animals affected by this mutation will have bats revolving around them and have their value increased by 10x. While the Haunted Event can occur randomly, it can also be triggered by players. Here’s how to do that:
- Launch Raise Animals.
- Pick up an animal from your zoo.
- Go to the cauldron in the middle of the map and put the animal in the cauldron to earn points.
- Once the cauldron hits 500, the Haunted Weather Event will spawn. All players on the server can participate in this task to spawn the event.
The cauldron will award different amounts of points depending on the rarity of the animal you put in. See the table below:
