Roblox The Takeover Event Guide – How to Create or Join Crews, Portals & More

After the tremendous success of the Mega Hunt Event, Roblox developers are launching a new limited-time event called The Takeover on September 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM PT. This is primarily a crew-based event where players must form teams and complete quests offered by various participating experiences for exciting rewards.

How to create a Crew in Roblox The Takeover

To create a Crew, you can open the Roblox The Takeover experience on any supported platform of your choice. Here, you can visit the Crew HQ at the center of the playing area (a white square area). Now, press the Create button and start customizing your Crew. You can provide a name, description, and logo. Everything is customizable to some extent, with a few color layout options for the logo, logo background, and the frame. Finally, press the Confirm button to create a new Crew for yourself.

How to join a Crew in Roblox The Takeover

After making a Crew, the next step is to give out invites to your friends or other random players to make them join your Crew. For this, you and your friends must be present on the same server. So, press escape and then invite your friends through the Invite Connections option. Once both of you are on the same server, select the Crew icon on the left to open your Crew Window. In the Invite section, choose the name of your friend to send them an invite. Tell them to accept to join the Crew. In the same way, you can also join other Crews made by your friends.

Additionally, if you are the leader, you can promote one of your members to Admin status, allowing them to assist you in gathering and moderating crew members.

What are Solo and Crew Creds in Roblox The Takeover?

If you are inside the Roblox The Takeover experience, you can find two types of currencies at the top, called Solo and Crew Creds. Solo Creds can be accumulated by finishing the quest or objective as a Solo Player, where Crew Creds can be earned as a Whole Crew. The exact details will be revealed at the start of the event.

What are Portals in Roblox The Takeover?

There are four different Portals in the Roblox The Takeover Event through which players can enter the various participating experiences. I have mentioned the names of all the portals and the experience under them.
