With the cheerful holiday season behind us and the exciting new year already rung in, I guess all that's left to do is help take down the festive campus tree, pack away the colorful lights in my dorm, and wait for the Nature fairies to allow the warmth of spring to melt away my winter blues. Or is it?! For the first time since 2021, Royale High has announced that a Valentine's Day-themed halo will be coming to the experience, and that said halo will be available to obtain between the winter and spring seasons.

When will the 2024 Valentine's Day halo come out in Royale High?
Though there's been no confirmation from Royale High as to when this halo will be released (at least, not yet), it's mentioned in the official Royale High halo story submission guidelines that the Everfriend season (which is just a rename of the previous Valentine's Day seasons) will take place between Jan. and Feb. 2024. If I had to guess, the new Everfriend halo (Valentine's Day halo) will debut sometime during the last week of January.
The Everfriend Story Contest opened on Jan. 7, 2024, and began accepting RSVPs immediately. The RSVP dropbox then closed on Jan. 10, 2024, and, on Jan. 12, 2024, 300 people who RSVP'd were chosen at random and sent an email letting them know that they had been selected to submit a fountain/halo story for the Everfriend season.
Story submissions close on Jan. 21, 2024, which is when the Royale High developers will begin looking through the submissions and picking their favorite ones/deciding the winners. When this process was done for the 2023 winter halo, there was about seven days between when the story submissions closed (Nov. 25, 2023) and when the halo was released (Dec. 2, 2023), which is what makes me think the Everfriend halo will come out sometime during the last week of January; likely Jan. 28.
What will the 2024 Valentine's Day halo look like in Royale High?
No one knows the answer to this question right now, but, if you're looking for some inspiration, Royale High has been reposting tons of concept art for the halo on its official X account!
