- When it comes to priorities for Runaways Beginners, save up for either the Medic or the Gang Member class.
- For cars, save either for the Charged or the T-1000.
- To get money fast, loot large items like the Guitar, as well as break any Cash Register, ATM, and Vault you see.
- Healing items are in abundance in Gas Stations, so make sure to hit them up, not just refuel.
- To repair your car, you must get items like Drills from the American Tire shop.
The goal is to make it to Mexico, but if you're just starting to play, our Runaways beginner's guide will be extremely helpful. I'll explain the Wanted Level, how to heal, how to repair your car, as well as the most efficient way to make it to the end with the best Classes, Items, and more!
How Do I Reduce the Stars in My Runaways Wanted Level?

The Wanted Level is one of the core mechanics in Roblox Runaways, currently consisting of five stars. With each crime you commit, the five stars fill up. The more stars you have, the lest time it will take for Reinforcement to come get you. On top of that, the more wanted you are, the stronger the Cop NPCs that are coming for you.
Unfortunately for beginners, there is no way to reduce stars at the moment. You'll just have to be smart about your item purchases, refueling, and which houses you hit up in order to escape to Mexico.
Important Info: Fuel costs more the further you go. You'll want to allocate enough money for fuel in each town or you risk not being able to make it into the next one.
How to Loot Large Items in Runaways

Large Items can't be stored in your Inventory, even if you purchase the Backpack upgrades from the Pawnshop. These give you space for smaller Items, but large ones still won't fit. Funnily enough, there is also no way to open the trunk of your car.
So how do you loot Large Items? You definitely don't want to be dragging them on foot. The Large Items mechanic in this game works similarly to Dead Rails. To transport them, you have to attach them to your car first.
Make sure to grab these Large Items from the start, since they will give you an extra cash boost. If you see a Guitar, especially, make it your priority since it sells for 1.3k!
How Do I Heal in Roblox Runaways?

Whatever you do in Runaways, you will be losing health, but how do you regain it? There are multiple ways to heal in the game. For starters, you can buy three useful healing items at the Pawn Shop.
However, there is a much cheaper, free way to get healing items: stealing them. Gas Stations are your go-to in this case. The fridges usually have items like Cronch, an Apple, or even Hotdogs, which all restore your health. You can also usually grab a Medic Bag or two from the counter next to the cash register.
How to Get Money Fast in Runaways

First, as I mentioned above, grab large items like Guitars and Paintings. Trash Bags aren't worth much, so you can skip the hassle. Make sure to purchase an Inventory upgrade in your first town to ensure you can grab as many items as possible whenever you loot.
Additionally, breaking down vaults, ATMs, and the Cash Register is essentially a big boost of money without you having to actually stop at a Pawn Shop to sell Items. You can break them with your fists, but a good Crowbar gives you a good speed boost.
How Do I Fix the Car?

Much in the same way that you are taking damage, so will the car. The tougher the cop NPCs, the more they'll shoot at your car. If you hit stuff on the road, like trees or people, your car health will decline. To fix your car in Runaways, you first have to grab the tools for it.
In later towns, you will more often than not encounter a store called American Tire. This is where you can obtain all the equipment to fix your car, like Drills. I suggest grabbing multiple from the shelves to have as backups. When you are not being attacked by any of the NPCs, just equip the Drill and use it on the car for a quick fix.
How to Get Better Cars
Cars aren't items that you can purchase inside a run. Instead, you have to purchase any new cars from the Runaways lobby. You can buy multiple cars, some for in-game money and some for Robux.
If you're willing to spend real-life money, then the Floppy Truck is your pick with the best stats all around. Charged should be your pick if you want to go fast, but I suggest saving up for the T-1000 since it's just as fast but has additional Armor to protect you.
Important Info: Cars are permanent purchases. That means any car your purchase is available for any future run, unlike Items and Weapons which you can accidentally sell off at the Pawn Shop, talking from experience.
Best Runaways Beginner Class

Classes are another thing you can buy in the Runaways Lobby, either for in-game currency or for Robux. If you don't want to P2W, then go for one of the two classes below:
- Medic - provides you with an extra +20% health boost from the start, with more healing items in your inventory. It's excellent for team play if you want to become the designated group healer. It's also valid in solo, but it doesn't have any weapon or inventory boosts, so you'll still have to work towards that.
- Gang Member - One of the best Class loadouts in Runaways, for beginners and veterans alike. Not as expensive as some of the Classes like Bounty Hunter, but still provides useful boosts like an increase in Speed, extra storage, a ranged weapon, and ammunition. No health boosts, but these are pretty cheap at the Pawn Shop, and as I mentioned above, you can usually find Medic Bag lying around in Gas Stations.
If you are willing to spend some money, then invest in the Smuggler class. You'll get an excellent speed boost and a backpack from the get-go. You do lose out on Melee damage, but that just means you should switch to a Ranged weapon sooner rather than later.
Best Items to Get at the Pawn Shop
While at the Pawn Shop, you may be tempted to purchase as many items as possible. However, money can be tight, and fuel gets more expensive as you go, so you'll need to budget. Skip any healing items, since you can usually find them at gas stations, which are present in every city you stop in. A must-buy is a Backpack upgrade as soon as you can get it.
When it comes to Runaways Weapons, go with the Machete and Axe for Melee, or the Minigun for Ranged. These are your best damage-to-cost ratio options to ensure you don't waste money on subpar weapons.
Another item to grab around Kansas is C4, just in case you run into any banks that require you to relieve them of their money. This is also the time when you should invest in Light Armor to give you some additional protection when being attacked.
If you want even more free stuff, not just the ones you get from stealing, make sure to redeem the Runaways codes!
