The S-tier Specs rule the current meta of Sailor Piece (post the Moon Update). Whether you’re looking to farm materials, grind bosses, or have some PvP fun, Specs like Strongest Shinobi, Anos, Gilgamesh, and Moon Slayer are excellent choices.
If you’re a beginner, Qin Shi and Madoka are decent choices as well. Both of these are relatively easy to obtain early and can be built for impressive DPS with enough Blessings.

There are 15+ Swords to choose from in Sailor Piece, and, much like Specs, there are more “good” options than “bad.” For beginners, Gryphon is the best choice.
Get the Katana, use that to clear the quests on Starter Island and Jungle Island, and you should be able to purchase the Gryphon. Ma out the Sword stat, and the Gryphon would carry to the mid to late-game content easily.

Sailor Piece currently only has five Devil Fruits that you can obtain and use. Out of these five, Quake and Light are the best ones. Quake is considered OP for farming mob drops. The C move can clear a whole island within seconds. The Light fruit offers a good mix of mobility (V move gives you flight) and DPS.
Since it’s pretty easy to get Fruits in Sailor Piece, you should aim for the S-tier options. Flame, Bomb, and Invisible are fun to use, but don’t expect much from them, and definitely don’t waste your Fruit Bag Storage on them.

Your Race will directly affect your overall build in Sailor Piece. That’s why you must get the best possible Race. Luckily, Race Rerolls are pretty easy to get. Once you have enough of those, try to get and secure as many S-tier Races as possible so you can test out different builds.
Pro Tip: Run the Sword Blessed Race if you use a Sword as your main weapon. If a melee Spec is your main weapon, the Warlord Race is the best choice. Early on, Fishman Race will help you farm resources like Money, EXP, and Gems.

Traits are a core mechanic in Sailor Piece and also one of the more complex ones, due to the various build synergies. If you’re struggling against late-game bosses, rerolling your Trait and getting one of the higher-tier ones will make a lot of difference to your DPS.
All the Secret rarity traits (Emperor, Celestial, Singularity, Cataclysm, and Overlord) are excellent choices for a pure DPS boost. If you’re low on luck, Mythicals and Legendaries are also decent placeholders until you can get the Secrets.

How We Rank - Factors Considered While Ranking
Here’s a quick overview of everything we considered when deciding the rankings for all our Sailor Piece tier lists:
- For Weapons: The primary factor when deciding the rankings for Swords, Specs, and Fruits is their DPS. This includes the potential damage against mobs, mini-bosses, and world bosses. So, weapons that are effective for grinding bosses and farming mobs end up in higher tiers. The only exception to this is the Light fruit, which gets in the S Tier mostly because of the flight utility.
- For Races: Just as with Weapons, Damage is a major factor for Races as well. However, Synergy with the best Sword or Specs was also considered. That’s why, depending on whether you’re maining a Sword or a Spec, the best Race in Sailor Piece can change.
- For Traits: Traits have three main stats: Defense, Damage, and Cooldown Reduction. Higher stat buffs (especially Damage) mean a higher ranking on our tier list. However, if you're running a certain Sword or Spec, some lower-tier Traits could be a better fit. That’s why, make sure you read about the current Best Trait Build Synergies in Sailor Piece.

The Mythicals classes like Leviathan, Sunborn, Galevorn, and Kitsune are considered the best Races in Sailor Piece. To get the best out of them, pair them with their preferred synergy builds.
Secret Traits (Celestial, Singularity, Overlord, Emperor, and Cataclysm) are the best Traits in Sailor Piece. These offer the best stat buffs, but they’re also very hard to get because of their low roll chance.
In the Moon Update meta, Quake is the best Devil Fruit in Sailor Piece. It has massive AoE moves that are perfect for mob farming, and it can handle bosses as well.
Gryphon is the best beginner Sword in Sailor Piece. For late-game content, you can use Swords like Atomic, Yamato, True Manipulator, or Shadow Monarch. All of these offer top-tier DPS and are perfect for farming and boss grinding.
Melee Specs like Gilgamesh, Strongest of Today, Anos, Strongest Shinobi, and Moon Slayer are all great options that offer high DPS. Pair them with the best Race and Trait and you’ll have no trouble hitting the level cap.
