Updated: April 1, 2026
Updated some build type recommendations in line with the new meta, traits and races which have been added in the Moon Update (March, 31, 2026).
Sailor Piece has a ton of exploration, combat, grinding, and ability progression, similar to other One Piece–themed experiences, but with unique mechanics and a progression system. One of the key elements of this game is your race, as it grants passive stat bonuses — including HP, damage, lifesteal, damage reduction, and weapon-specific multipliers — that directly improve your overall combat and build efficiency. These bonuses stack with your Trait, Haki, and accessories to form your complete build. To help you pick the best for your playstyle, we've created the complete Sailor Piece race tier list ranking every one of them, along with exact stat values and tips on which races to target with your Race Rerolls.

Best Race and Trait Combinations
Race passive bonuses stack directly with your Trait's damage multiplier and Haki to form your total build output. These are the highest-performing race and trait pairings currently in the meta:
| Trait | Best Race Pairing | Why It Works |
|---|---|---|
| Celestial (Secret) | SwordBlessed | Celestial's 2.20x damage multiplier combines with SwordBlessed's +20% Sword DMG Multi and +75% flat DMG for the highest Sword DPS in the game. Best paired with True Aizen or Shadow Monarch. |
| Emperor (Secret) | Warlord | Emperor's melee-focused damage scaling amplifies Galevorn's +22% Melee DMG Multi, making this the strongest Melee build in the current meta. |
| Cataclysm (Secret) | Sunborn | Cataclysm's high damage output pairs well with Sunborn's +80% Max HP and +10% DMG Reduction, creating a durable and hard-hitting all-rounder for endgame dungeons and boss farming. |
| Malevolent (Mythic) | Servant | The best placeholder combo before landing a Secret trait. Malevolent's Mythic-tier multiplier and Servant's +4% Lifesteal keep your build competitive while you grind for a better trait. |

How to Get Race Rerolls in Sailor Piece
To change your race in Sailor Piece, you need Race Reroll items. These are Epic-rarity consumables that, when used, randomly spin you a new race based on rarity odds. Here's how to farm them efficiently:
- Farm World Bosses — This is the most reliable source. Most World Bosses drop Race Rerolls at high rates. Bosses like Alucard (85% drop rate), Aizen (85%), and Madoka (guaranteed drop) are among the best to target. You must deal at least 10% of the boss's total damage to qualify for drops. Check our Sailor Piece Boss Locations guide for full spawn details and drop tables.
- Defeat Regular Mobs — Race Rerolls can also drop from standard enemies around the map, but the chance is significantly lower than boss farming.
- Redeem Codes — Some active Sailor Piece codes reward Race Rerolls for free. Always check for new codes before spending time grinding.
Keep in mind that Mythic races have an extremely low pull rate (approximately 0.5% per roll), so expect to use many Race Rerolls before landing Warlord, SwordBlessed, Galevorn, Slime, Servant, Leviathan, Kitsune, Sunborn, or Oni. Using Kitsune in the meantime is actually a smart strategy, since its +25% Luck boost increases your drop odds for new Race Rerolls while you grind.
Race bonuses also stack with Armament and Conqueror Haki when both are active, so a strong Mythic race paired with maxed Haki significantly widens the gap over lower-rarity options. Races also apply a cosmetic change to your Roblox avatar, so getting a rare one comes with a visual upgrade on top of the stat bonuses.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The best races in Sailor Piece as of the Massive Update (March 2026) are Warlord, SwordBlessed, Galevorn, Sunborn, Servant, Slime, Leviathan, and Kitsune. SwordBlessed is the new top pick for Sword builds with +20% Sword DMG Multi, +80% Max HP, and +75% DMG. Warlord is the best for Melee builds with +22% Melee DMG Multi, +85% Max HP and +80% DMG. Sunborn is the most versatile all-rounder. Kitsune remains unmatched for farming thanks to its unique +25% Luck multiplier.
Yes, A-Tier races are very strong but tend to work best with specific weapons or builds. Oni is the best Mythic melee option outside S-Tier. Hollow, Shadowborn, Shinigami, Player, and Vessel each have a dedicated weapon multiplier — if you run the matching weapon, some of these rival S-Tier. Without it, they fall a bit short of the top seven.
Fishman is the best choice for early-game leveling because it provides +15% EXP Gain and +15% Money Gain, helping you level faster and buy better weapons sooner. Once you reach mid-game, swap to Kitsune — its +25% Luck multiplier improves rare drop rates from bosses, which helps you farm Race Rerolls and accessories more efficiently.
To reroll your race, you need a Race Reroll item, which is an Epic-rarity consumable. Use the item to spin a new race randomly based on rarity chances. Race Rerolls drop from most enemies in the game, but World Bosses drop them at significantly higher rates — bosses like Alucard, Aizen, and Madoka are the most efficient farm targets. Some Sailor Piece codes also reward Race Rerolls for free. Note that getting a Mythic race has a very low pull rate (around 0.5%), so you may need many rerolls to land your target race.
Sailor Piece has six race rarities from lowest to highest: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. Human is the only Common race and offer no stat bonuses. Mythic is the rarest tier and includes Warlord, SwordBlessed, Galevorn, Slime, Servant, Leviathan, Kitsune, Sunborn, and Oni — the strongest races in the game. Each rarity tier has a set probability when using a Race Reroll, with Mythic races having around a 0.5% chance per spin.
The strongest race and trait combinations are Celestial with SwordBlessed for Sword builds, and Emperor with Warlord for Melee builds. Both use Secret-rarity traits whose damage multipliers stack directly with race passive bonuses to push total DPS significantly higher than any single piece of gear can on its own. If you have not landed a Secret trait yet, Malevolent paired with Servant is the best placeholder Mythic combo, offering strong Melee output while you keep farming for an upgrade.
