How to Find The Needle Fast in Search For The Needle
To be the God of Speed in Search For The Needle, you need to earn money fast by collecting hay from the haystack, then buy the fastest tools and upgrade them. As soon as you spawn in the game, you'll see multiple game queues where you can choose to play solo or with fellow players. Simply walk to the designated circle and begin your adventure.
Chapter One is the Farmhouse where you're met with the Farmer NPC, who gives you a quest to find a needle in a large pile of hay in exchange for a whopping $1000. The beginning is very slow, as you can only collect 25 pieces per run. You feed the collected hay to the friendly cow in exchange for currency that you can then use to purchase upgrades and later tools. We suggest not rushing to switch tools before fully maxing them.
What Are The Best Tools in Search For The Needle
Without a doubt, the best tool in Search For The Needle is the fully upgraded Vacuum. All of the items are located in the shop in the barn, so simply farm, walk in, and purchase what you need to achieve victory. Here is the list of all tools:
- Upgrade Bag - This item allows you to hold up to 500 pieces of hay when upgraded to max, which is great for a bigger cash out.
- Infinite Bag - You can purchase this item with Robux; it allows you to hold an infinite amount of hay. If you're not a fan of spending real-life currency, the Upgrade Bag will do just fine.
- Pitchfork - This item lets you scoop multiple pieces of hay at once, making it a great way to progress to better, faster tools.
- TNT / Dynamite - The second-best tool in the game, once upgraded to its full potential. Blasting the haystack with Dynamite helps you collect multiple hundreds of hay per explosion.
- Vacuum - Once upgraded, the vacuum becomes a powerful beast. Sucking in an insane amount of hay per second. Now, it's just a matter of time before you find the needle.
- Drone - This item isn't in the barn; it's on the side next to the haystack. It costs 40 Gems, which are easy to collect in the hay. The drone flies around, and the more you upgrade it, the more it collects for you.
How To Upgrade Items in Search For The Needle
Collecting hay provides you with in-game currency that you should use to upgrade all of your items. Upgrading is necessary, as you won't be able to achieve much if you're slow and can't carry the load. The first things you should focus on upgrading are the Hold, Speed & Grasp of the Hand. The more you upgrade, the faster you become, which helps you earn a lot of in-game currency to invest in other upgrades. Simply click the TAB button and choose the option you wish to boost first.
The second item you should aim for is the Pitchfork. Its upgrades include Cooldown, Hold & Sweep. Next is the Dynamite; the key is to upgrade Lucky Blast, then Speed, then Power. As previously mentioned, the best tool in the game is the Vacuum, so make sure to max Power, Cooling & Runtime. How To Enter The Basement in Search For The Needle
Upon locating the Needle, you can triumphantly hand it over to the Farmer NPC who gave you the objective and expect to receive your grand prize! However, the Farmer's intentions aren't as kind as you thought. He tells you it's in the basement, even advises you to look thoroughly, as the cash is definitely all in there before BAM... He pushes you inside and closes the hatch behind you. Little does he know that another level is just what we wanted!
The premise is the same: collect hay from a haystack, sell it, and receive in-game currency for items and upgrades. However, the basement offers additional challenges to the gameplay with special objectives you must complete on top of finding the Needle in the Haystack. How To Get Pets in Search For The Needle
As of September 2026, there are two pets you can obtain in Search For The Needle. The first one is the Cow. It eats enormous mouthfuls and sells without ever walking to the trough. It also grants you 5.5 speed, +0% hay value, and 20 grasp. The second pet is the Dog, and it fills its mouth and runs the load to the trough. Granting 8 speed, 100 carry, and 10 grasp. You can get these beauties in the shop as soon as you spawn in the game at the loading location.
