Want to know what the best rings are in Solo Hunters? You’ve come to the right place! The Solo Leveling-inspired action RPG features a wide variety of items you can equip to make your character stronger. While not as flashy as weapons or armor, rings are exceptionally important for every build, as they provide powerful bonuses. That’s why I invite you to check out my Solo Hunters Ring Tier List.
Best Rings in Solo Hunters Tier List
At the game’s release, there are currently nine unique rings available in Solo Hunters. Unlike armor pieces, rings are not part of any set and therefore provide no additional bonuses beyond the stats listed on the item itself.
With that in mind, we’ll evaluate each ring’s place in the current meta based on the raw stat boosts it provides and how well those bonuses fit into the meta. Hence, without further ado, here’s the complete Solo Hunters Ring Tier List.
⇓ META RINGS ⇓

Black Iron Ring

Dark Heart Ring

Wanwood Ring
⇓ GREAT RINGS ⇓

Serpent Ring

Ring Of Fire

Ring Of Fire V2

Solo Hunters Ring Buffs & Evaluation
Now that we’ve seen the tier list, let’s break it down further by looking at what each ring actually buffs and how it affects the current meta. By the way, you probably already know this, but you can equip up to two rings at once, and their buffs stack, meaning you can equip two of the same ring in a single build. Keep that in mind - you don’t have to wear two different rings.
S Tier Rings - Best Rings in Solo Hunters
| Ring & Drop Location | Ring Bonus | Evaluation |
|---|---|---|
![]() Black Iron Ring Location: Desert | 20% Melee Damage | There’s not much to explain here. The Black Iron Ring provides a massive boost to M1 damage, and as you’re probably aware by now, weapon builds are currently far stronger than power-based ones. |
![]() Wanwood Ring Location: Jungle | 20% Melee Damage | The Wanwood Ring provides the exact same bonus as the Black Iron Ring, so everything mentioned above applies here as well. Equipping any two of these rings, in any combination, is the way to go. |
![]() Dark Heart Ring Location: Snow Forest | 22% Ability Damage | If you’re interested in playing a power build, slotting two of these bad boys into your ring slots is a no-brainer. No other ring provides as much of a damage boost to abilities as the Dark Heart Ring. |
A Tier Rings - Almost as Good As S Tier
| Ring & Drop Location | Ring Bonus | Evaluation |
|---|---|---|
![]() Serpent Ring Location: Desert | 20% Bonus Health | If you’re having trouble staying alive, the Serpent Ring is your friend. With two equipped, your total HP increases by a whopping 40%, making it an ideal choice for tank builds. |
![]() Ring Of Fire V2 Location: Jungle | 21% Ability Damage | Just ever so slightly weaker compared to the Dark Heart Ring, which is why we’re placing it in this tier. That 1% difference is very small, but it still counts. |
![]() Ring Of Fire Location: Snow Forest | 20% Ability Damage | A bit weaker compared to V2, but essentially the same overall. Either version works great for a power-focused build. Use the weaker ones until you find better versions, then simply swap them out. |

B Tier Rings - Early Game Only
| Ring & Drop Location | Ring Bonus | Evaluation |
|---|---|---|
![]() Earth Ring V2 Location: Any Gate | 15% Health | Fun fact: To the best of my knowledge, there's currently no such thing as V1 of this ring in-game. Aside from that, this is the best early-game ring. |
![]() Vine Ring Location: Any Gate | 14% Health | Just a pinch weaker than the Earth Ring V2, and given its rarity, this will likely be the first ring you’ll want to equip two of for your first dozen or so runs. Of course, replace it with something better as soon as you find stronger rings. |
![]() Healthy Ring Location: Any Gate | 12% Health | The objectively weakest ring in the game. Only wear it if it’s your very first ring, and replace it as soon as you get anything better, including the other two rings in this tier. |
Solo Hunters Rings FAQ
The best ring for M1 build is either the Black Iron Ring or the Wanwood Ring. Equip x2 any of these two for a total of 40% bonus to weapon damage.
The best ring for a power build is the Dark Heart Ring. Equipping two of them grants a total of 44% bonus Magic Damage. Alternatively, you can go with the Ring of Fire V2 for a slightly weaker bonus.
If you’re struggling with taking too much damage, the Serpent Ring is your friend, as it provides a flat 20% bonus to your total HP.
Yes, you can equip two identical rings, and their effects will stack. For example, equipping two Black Iron Rings will grant you a total of 40% weapon damage bonus.
No, you only need to equip the three armor pieces from that set (which includes Helmet, Chestplate, and Leggings from the same series).
