Sorcery Cursed Techniques Tier List – Roblox

Ranking all CTs from best to worst.

Sorcery offers a variety of Cursed Techniques that you can use to fight against your opponents. However, not every technique is worth unlocking, which is why I've compiled this Sorcery Cursed Techniques tier list ranking them all from best to worst.

Roblox Sorcery has a total of 11 Cursed Techniques as mentioned in the game's Trello board. Here's a quick look at their rankings:

  • S-Tier: Limitless, Shrine, Golden Ratio
  • A-Tier: Mythical Beast Amber, Blood Manipulation, Idle Transfiguration, Disaster Flames
  • B-Tier: Mimicry, Cursed Speech
  • C-Tier: Boogie Woogie, Projection Sorcery

S-Tier

  • Limitless: Limitless is by far the most overpowered Cursed Technique in Sorcery, as it offers a range of versatile moves that adapt to any situation. Its best move is known as Infinite Crusher which allows you to finish off low-health enemies in style. Moreover, with the Infinity skill, you get invincibility frames, which let you dodge attacks when you need them most.
  • Shrine: Sukuna’s technique offers the most moves in the entire game, making it one of the most versatile and spam-friendly techniques. During my playthrough, I found that the damage output of this Cursed Technique is one of the highest in the game, and with five fingers, you gain an additional move called Flame Arrow, which adds the fire element to your attacks.
  • Golden Ratio: Nanami's technique, Ratio, particularly shines in close-range fights due to its variety of combo-extending moves that deal substantial damage. While it may lack the visual flair of other techniques, its practicality in close-range combat earns it a solid S-tier ranking.

A-Tier

  • Mythical Beast Amber: This technique heavily relies on the blast moves which deliver significant damage to the opponent. As a result, it allows you to kill enemies from a distance without letting them get close and land an attack on you. I highly recommend using its Volt Blast ability due to its high damage output which ultimately gives you an edge in both long-range and close-quarters combat.
  • Blood Manipulation: Blood Manipulation excels in the damage and range departments. It's powerful enough to take out opponents with moves like Piercing Exorcism which creates a high-pressure blood beam that shoots forward hitting anyone in its path. However, its abilities aren’t necessarily the best in the game as the enemies can easily counter them using S-Tier techniques. Thankfully, its moveset is strong enough to land it firmly in the A-tier.
  • Idle Transfiguration: Mahito’s technique is pretty straightforward but in terms of overall power and effectiveness, it doesn’t quite hold up. It does have a ranged move known as Body Repel which sets it apart from many close-range techniques but the damage output and usability just don't stand out. After using it for a while, I found it lackluster and I wouldn’t recommend it over S-Tier techniques.
  • Disaster Flames: Jogo’s Disaster Flames technique brings a lot of firepower. He has four solid moves, each capable of dealing serious damage over a decent range. The technique can be a bit predictable due to its slow attack speed, but if used effectively, it can easily overwhelm opponents. While not the flashiest in terms of combos, its damage potential places it in A-tier.

B-Tier

  • Mimicry: The Mimicry Cursed Technique comes with significant risk. Its primary power is replicating the techniques of other sorcerers but the ability you gain is completely random. As a result, I've often found it difficult to use in battle as it may not provide the strength or utility needed to deal meaningful damage or control the fight.
  • Cursed Speech: Cursed Speech is a technique in Roblox Sorcery that I recommend staying away from because its moves are too easy to predict. When using the Stop Moving ability, the character audibly yells 'Stop Moving,' which notifies the enemy before stunning them. Unfortunately, the character still moves slowly afterward which makes it less useful in battle.

C-Tier

  • Boogie Woogie: Boogie Woogie is the technique that you should avoid using if you can in Sorcery due to its lack of powerful skills. The technique boasts only a single move which allows the character to teleport behind enemies and deal damage. However, it delivers an underwhelming performance due to inferior damage stats. The developers might buff Boogie Woogie in one of the future updates but until then, it's considered a C-tier technique.
  • Projection Sorcery: Similar to Boogie Woogie, Projection Sorcery has a single move that freezes your target by circling around them. Although it's a great ability to use in the initial levels, you won’t stand a chance against even an average player if you have this Cursed Technique equipped.

Please note: The above tier list is based on the author's opinion. We highly encourage you to explore all the options and use the one you like the most.

How to reroll Cursed Techniques in Sorcery

Before diving into the reroll process, make sure you've unlocked the Cursed Technique feature in the game. Cursed Techniques are unlocked once you complete the tricky parkour challenge in the Dream World which requires you to be at least level 55.

Once you've done that, speak to the Mahito NPC in the Spawn Area in Sorcery. I've also marked his exact location in the above image for your convenience. The NPC will give you the following three options:

  • I want to change the color of my cursed
  • I want to wipe my character
  • I'd like to reroll my Cursed Technique.

At this point, you'll need to pick the third option and request Mahito to reroll your technique. Keep in mind that each reroll requires 10 tickets which you can get by spending Robux. Here's the cost breakdown:

  • 10 Cursed Tickets: 50 Robux
  • 20 Cursed Tickets: 100 Robux
  • 50 Cursed Tickets: 250 Robux

After spending your Cursed Tickets, Mahito will present you with a selection of new techniques to choose from. Finally, select the one you think is the most powerful.
