SS Tier - Best Units in Summon Heroes
| Unit | Stats | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|---|
| Divine Mythic | Role: Ranged ATK: 19.5 HP: 117 SPD: 12 | + Massive damage output with the Special Attack. + Both moves have a long range, which is extremely useful in PvP and PvE. + The Special Attack is OP against bosses, removing chunks of HP. - Becomes a sitting duck while charging the Special Attack. |
| Reaper Mythic | Role: Ranged, Summoner ATK: 19.5 HP: 97.5 SPD: 13 | + Crowd-control specialist. + Uses a mix of long-range attacks, AoE attacks, and summons to deal massive damage. + The summoned spirits absorb any incoming damage, making up for the low base HP (97.5). + Equally effective for both PvP and PvE content. |
| Seraph Mythic | Role: Ranged ATK: 19.5 HP: 97.5 SPD: 12 | + OP single-target DPS unit, with a highly spammable and effective Basic Attack. + The Special Attack has a bigger hitbox and is capable of hitting multiple enemies. - DPS of the Special Attack is very weak. |
| Emperor Mythic | Role: Ranged, Summoner ATK: 19.5 HP: 117 SPD: 11 | + Has a versatile skillset (CC abilities with summons and high DPS with both attacks). + The high ability damage is excellent in both PvE and Tournament. - Relies a little too much on his Special Attack, which can be exploited in PvP. |
| B-4:R B.E.T. Mythic | Role: Tank, Ranged ATK: 19.5 HP: 292.5 SPD: 10 | + The best tank in the game right now with a 292.5 base HP. + Decent damage output with the Basic Attack for a pure Tank. + Highly effective in all game modes because of high survivability and decent DPS. - Basic Attack has a low range compared to the Special Attack. |
| Matriarch Mythic | Role: Hybrid, Summoner ATK: 19.5 HP: 146.2 SPD: 12 | + Summons a Swordsman minion for 6 seconds that can deal triple-digit damage. + Summons an Archer and an Academy Witch minion as part of the Special Attack. + All minions have decent DPS and can tank damage to keep Matriarch alive for longer. - Minions perish pretty quickly in PvP. |
| Ranger Legendary | Role: Ranged, DoT ATK: 16.2 HP: 113.4 SPD: 12 | + High DPS potential if you can position him right. + The low cooldown of the Special Attack massively increases the damage output. - Attacks lack range, especially for a supposed Ranged unit. - Glass cannon. Damage is good, but it struggles with survivability. |
S Tier
| Unit | Stats | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|---|
| Kitsune Mage Legendary | Role: Hybrid ATK: 16.2 HP: 210.6 SPD: 14 | + A melee DPS unit with one of the best burst damage abilities in the game. + Good base HP that matches the best tanks of the game. No survivability struggles. + Equally viable in PvP and PvE content. - Not the most beginner-friendly unit. Requires near-perfect positioning for best performance. |
| Technomancer Legendary | Role: Melee, CC ATK: 16.2 HP: 129.6 SPD: 10 | + One of the few units in the game that is equally good at single-target and AoE attacks. + Basic Attack is an AoE move that can pierce through enemies and deal damage to multiple targets. + Special Attack is a single-target move that’s perfect for bosses. - Versatility comes at the cost of DPS. Other Legendary units offer higher DPS with specialised attacks. |
| Sage Legendary | Role: Ranged, DPS ATK: 16.2 HP: 113.4 SPD: 13 | + Can one-shot enemies if you position her right. + Has decent range on both attacks. + The closer she is to an enemy, the more damage she’ll deal. - Not the most reliable unit. If she is far from the enemy, there’s a high chance that the attack will miss. This makes her a liability in PvP. |
| Sniper Legendary | Role: Ranged, Pierce ATK: 16.2 HP: 64.8 SPD: 9 | + Excellent DPS x range combo that works extremely well in PvE content. + The high DPS on both Basic and Special attacks makes her highly effective against bosses. - Another glass cannon unit. Good DPS, but has one of the lowest base HP in the game. A tank can protect her in PvE and Tournaments, but she’s an easy kill in PvP. |
| Demon Knight Legendary | Role: Melee, Tank ATK: 16.2 HP: 226.8 SPD: 10 | + One of the best tanks in the game for both PvE and PvP. + Decent DPS with the Basic Attack for a tank. - The Special Attack is quite weak and best turned off, so you get the best out of his Basic Attacks. |
| Jester Legendary | Role: Ranged ATK: 16.2 HP: 105.3 SPD: 10 | + Can target and hit multiple enemies and deal decent damage. + Excellent for early to mid-game PvE content. - Struggles in PvP due to the low HP. Jester is easy to kill with just a few targeted attacks by a melee unit. |
| Laser Cyborg Legendary | Role: Ranged ATK: 16.2 HP: 129.6 SPD: 10 | + Both the Basic and Special Attack lasers have a long range and can pierce through enemies to hit multiple targets. + A team full of Laser Cyborgs is game-breaking in all game modes (April 2026 meta, things could change with the next update). - Longest cooldown on the Special Attack. (30 seconds) |
A Tier
| Unit | Stats | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|---|
| Bear Tamer Rare | Role: Tank, Summoner ATK: 10 HP: 100 SPD: 10 | + Performs much better than what the in-game rarity (Rare) suggests. + Constantly has bear cubs/bears on the field that deal damage to enemies and protect your units as well. + PvE enemies simply have no answer for the bears summoned by Bear Tamer. - Low base HP means Bear Tamer is easy to kill by targeting early in PvP matches. |
| Construct Epic | Role: Melee, Bruiser ATK: 12.65 HP: 189.7 SPD: 10 | + One of the strongest Epic tanks in the game. Excellent substitute until you get a Legendary tank. + Very good for early and mid-game PvE content. Decent performance in PvP as well. + Decent damage output. - Attack and movement speed are quite slow, which can cause problems in PvP. |
| Abyss Lord Legendary | Role: Tank, Melee, Ranged ATK: 16.2 HP: 202.5 SPD: 9 | + One of the best Legendary tanks in the game right now that protects as well as destroys. + Uses a mix of melee and ranged AoE attacks to deal damage to multiple enemies. - One of the two slowest units in the game. You’ll get punished if you don’t get the positioning right, especially in PvP. |
| Spectre Epic | Role: Melee ATK: 12.65 HP: 177.1 SPD: 13 | + Excellent melee DPS unit that delivers in PvE, Tournaments, and PvP. + Fast Basic Attacks and low Special Attack cooldown deliver excellent damage output. + Very good health pool for a melee DPS unit. Paired with an HP boosting trait, this unit becomes OP for early to mid-game PvE. - Hits the ceiling pretty quickly and must be replaced with better alternatives to continue PvE progression. |
| Mermaid Epic | Role: Ranged ATK: 12.65 HP: 88.5 SPD: 11 | + A decent ranged DPS unit that can help you clear early-game PvE. + The homing attacks have a very good range and do decent damage. - Low HP means you’ll need to pair her up with a tank. Can be costly in PvP. |
B Tier
| Units | Stats | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|---|
| Tank Commander Legendary | Role: Tank, Ranged ATK: 16.2 HP: 251.1 SPD: 10 | + Second-highest HP in the game. + Has a ranged moveset. Both Basic and Special Attacks shoot ranged projectiles that deal decent damage to enemies. - Requires manual positioning. If you let her auto-position, she’ll move to the back line to focus on her ranged moves and completely abandon her Tank role. |
| Framerate Legendary | Role: Melee, Bruiser ATK: 16.2 HP: 194.4 SPD: 18 | + Higher HP than most Legendary and Mythic units. + One of the fastest units in the game in terms of movement and attack speed. - Basic Attack lands 20 hits, and Special Attack lands 110 hits, but the final DPS is one of the lowest in the game. - Due to the high movement speed, Framrate often ends up rushing ahead and dying before other units can catch up. - Gets locked in attack animation, which is highly exploitable in PvP. |
| Wind Samurai Epic | Role: Melee, Burst ATK: 12.65 HP: 164.4 SPD: 12 | + Beginner-friendly because of his consistent performance across PvE, PvP, and Tournaments. + Good DPS with both Basic and Special Attack. + Special Attack has some range to it. - Basic Attack is a complete melee. You have to get close to enemies to deal damage, which can be risky in PvP. |
| Slime Summoner Epic | Role: Summoner, Tank ATK: 12.65 HP: 126.5 SPD: 10 | + An excellent Tank x Summoner unit for early-game PvP. + Special Attacks summon slimes that will engage enemies for 10 seconds. + Summons are really tanky. - Better Tank x Summoner options are available for mid to late-game and PvP content. |
| Necromancer Epic | Role: Mid-range, Summoner ATK: 12.65 HP: 126.5 SPD: 10 | + Decent DPS x Summoner combo with mid-range attacks. + Good damage output for an Epic unit. - The summoned skeletons are weak and die quickly. |
| Dual Wielder Epic | Role: Melee ATK: 12.65 HP: 164.4 SPD: 10 | + Very good melee DPS unit for early and mid-game PvE. + Decent performance in PvP, but will struggle against stronger teams. - Special Attack DPS is disappointing. Relies heavily on Basic Attack. - Specter is a better long-term investment. |
C Tier
| Unit | Stats | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|---|
| Diver Epic | Role: Melee, Tank ATK: 12.65 HP: 189.7 SPD: 11 | + Joint-highest HP out of all the Epic units in the game. Can tank plenty of damage from early-game PvE enemies. - Low DPS on both attacks. Falls completely flat in PvP. - Not worth investing in when units like Spectre and Dual Wielder are available. |
| Thief Epic | Role: Melee, DPS ATK: 12.65 HP: 126.5 SPD: 11 | + Very good DPS with both attacks (for an Epic unit). + Both attacks do small-range AoE damage, which is very helpful in early-game PvE. - No scaling potential. Becomes useless as you progress through the story. Also, PvP performance is poor. |
| Spellblade Epic | Role: Ranged ATK: 12.65 HP: 63.2 SPD: 11 | + A very good ranged DPS unit for the early game. + The piercing attacks are very good against weak mobs. - One of the lowest HP in the game. Dies almost instantly in PvP and doesn’t survive for too long in PvE either. |
| Outlaw Epic | Role: Ranged ATK: 12.65 HP: 63.2 SPD: 10 | + Decent ranged attacks that can pierce to hit multiple enemies. + Basic Attack does better damage than the Special Attack. - Using the Special Attack makes him a sitting duck for a few seconds before and after. - Very bad in PvP because of low HP and slow attack speed. |
| Dragoon Epic | Role: Melee, Tank, DPS ATK: 12.65 HP: 164.4 SPD: 10 | + A versatile unit that can deal damage and tank it as well. + Special Attack is piercing and can hit multiple enemies. - DPS is low on both Basic and Special Attack. |
| Demon Hunter Epic | Role: Ranged, Pierce ATK: 12.65 HP: 63.2 SPD: 10 | + One of the better ranged DPS units in the Epic category. + Decent DPS on both Basic and Special attacks. - Absolute glass cannon. Needs a lot of protection or dies instantly. - Major drop in performance in PvP. |
| Cyber DJ Epic | Role: Melee ATK: 12.65 HP: 151.7 SPD: 12 | + A decent melee DPS that isn’t a glass cannon. + Special Attack does decent damage, but can miss occasionally. - The mixture of single-burst and AoE attacks doesn’t work. Fails to deliver a fatal blow with any attack. - Weak in PvP. |
| Captain Epic | Role: Tank, Melee ATK: 12.65 HP: 189.7 SPD: 10 | + One of the three strongest tanks in the Epic category. - Offers nothing else apart from survivability. - Low number of hits and poor DPS with both Basic and Special Attack. |
| Street Rat Rare | Role: Melee, Bruiser ATK: 10 HP: 160 SPD: 10 | + The tankiest Rare unit in the game. + Offers decent DPS, making him very good for beginners. Can help clear early game levels. - Does not work in PvP. - Feels weak once you get your hands on tanks from Epic or Legendary rarity. |
| Ice Mage Rare | Role: Ranged ATK: 10 HP: 50 SPD: 10 | + Good CC unit for the early game. + Both attacks give decent DPS. Special Attack is really strong. - Easily replaceable with better Ranged units from higher rarities. |
D Tier
| Unit | Stats | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|---|
| Vampire Epic | Role: Melee ATK: 12.65 HP: 126.5 SPD: 10 | - The worst Epic unit in the game. - Designed as a single-target DPS unit, but fails to match expectations. - Needs the right Traits and plenty of support from the team to perform. - The resources required to make him good are better invested elsewhere. |
| Swordsman Rare | Role: Melee, Tank ATK: 10 HP: 130 SPD: 10 | + Good to use early on in the Story mode. Quick attacks give decent DPS. - Falls off hard and quickly. - Pretty easy to get units from higher rarities that offer much better performance across all game modes. |
| Ninja Rare | Role: Melee ATK: 10 HP: 50 SPD: 11 | + Good ranged unit to use early on. - Low HP means bosses will often one-shot him. - Unusable in PvP and Tournaments. |
| Fire Mage Rare | Role: Ranged ATK: 10 HP: 50 SPD: 10 | + Special Attack does AoE damage. - DPS is low with both attacks. Turning off Special Attack doesn’t make much of a difference. - AoE could be bigger. |
| Deckhand Rare | Role: Tank, Melee, Bruiser ATK: 10 HP: 130 SPD: 10 | + Good early-game bruiser. Will help you clear the early stages of Story. - Easily replaceable and should be replaced whenever possible. |
| Bandit Rare | Role: Melee ATK: 10 HP: 100 SPD: 10 | - One of the weakest melee-type units in the game. - Low DPS and low HP make him unusable across all game modes. |
| Archer Rare | Role: Ranged ATK: 10 HP: 50 SPD: 10 | + A decent Ranged option to use early on. - Lowest HP in the game, so you’ll need to keep him far away from the frontlines. - Replace as soon as possible, and don’t invest too much because the scaling is poor. - Pretty easy to get better Ranged units. Invest in those instead. |
| Academy Witch Rare | Role: Melee ATK: 10 HP: 100 SPD: 10 | - The worst unit in Summon Heroes right now. - Melee unit that needs to be close to enemies to deal damage. - By default, it likes to move away from the enemies, becoming completely useless in battle. |
