ARK (Anime Run Kingdom) is a Roblox experience with the same combat as Cookie Run Kingdom (you could've guessed that from the name). It might seem less complex compared to TD experiences, but it's actually the opposite. In ARK, unit choices and their skills, traits, upgrades, and everything else matter a lot, and without min-maxing, you won't be able to clear all the content the game throws at you. We will help you learn which units are meta and why you should summon and spend your upgrade resources on them by ranking them from best to worst. How We Ranked the Units
In the Anime Run Kingdom tier list above, we ranked all Mythic+ units (their evolutions if they have one) based on their strength for end-game content and game modes. We didn't include lower-rarity units as they simply don't have the stats nor the skills to compete with the performance of Mythic+ units later on. Plus, considering how easily you can get Mythic units, you'll outgrow the lower-rarity ones in just a few hours. The things that are the most important for each unit's ranking are:
- Skills & Cooldowns: Skills and their cooldowns are the biggest differences between units in Anime Run Kingdom. Zura, for example, can summon Elizabeth to soak damage and protect your whole team, making him an OP tank. Agua can provide heals and Crit Rate boosts. Without skills, each unit is just a stat stick.
- Passives: Mythic+ units also have passive buffs besides their regular skills. These buffs are usually minor, though some units, like Huffy (TS), can stun enemies for 4 seconds with their passive, which is huge. More details like that are in the unit descriptions below.
- Stats: Stats of a unit are usually related to their position. Front units will have high HP and DEF, while Middle and Back units will have high ATK. For example, if a Front unit doesn't have good HP and DEF, it will die quickly and, therefore, not serve its role well.
- Position: You can place two units at most in each row of your battle team (>>> Back, >>> Middle, >>> Front). The bigger the competition in a certain row, the less point there will be for you to invest into those subpar units (because you probably won't use them over the meta ones), and the lower we will rank it on the tier list.
