The Forge Island 4: Crimson Sakura Isles News & Leaks

The Forge developers have officially shared exciting news that they are working on the next major content update for the popular mining experience. According to FireAtacck, the main developer behind the game, "the map and assets for Island 4 are nearly complete," meaning that Crimson Sakura Isles are basically ready to be launched content-wise.

However, having learned from the previous mess with the launch of Island 3, FireAtacck states that they are not in a hurry to launch the new update. Wiser from past experience, they don’t want to make the same mistakes again. They are working around the clock to iron out bugs and glitches, ensure that new content is well-balanced, and add all sorts of quality-of-life improvements.

World 4 Theme and Biomes

Based on the sole image currently shared on the game’s official Discord server, the new Island 4 will have a “crimson” theme, with everything featuring hues of brown and red. And if you haven’t already guessed by the name, it is heavily inspired by Japanese and anime culture. The hub zone of Island 4 features buildings whose architecture closely resembles traditional Japanese architecture, as well as a structure that looks like a Shinto shrine.

While we currently have no additional information, it’s safe to assume that the next update will lean more heavily into an anime theme (something many fans have been requesting), given that anime remains one of the most popular influences across major Roblox experiences.

Island 4 NPCs, Enemies & Bosses

The devs haven’t yet shared any details about new enemy types, bosses, or NPCs coming to The Forge Island 4. That said, a few leaks and rumors suggest the addition of new primate enemies, including monkeys, chimps, and gorillas, potentially hinting at a jungle-themed biome. As always, take this information with a large grain of salt, as it remains unconfirmed hearsay until officially addressed by the developers.

New Island 4 Ores & Traits

Ores are the bread and butter of The Forge, something that will be a part of your gameplay at almost any stage of the game, from mining to crafting and completing various quests. Naturally, this means that they will be at the core of The Forge Island 4 update as well. The previous island introduced over 40 new ores, and we expect no less from the World 4 update. When the devs share more details, we will update this section as well.ž

Island 4 Pickaxes

Want to mine all those new and shiny Island 4 ores? Well, you’ll need new pickaxes! We expect the next major update to bring at least half a dozen new pickaxes, and probably even more. They will be more powerful than all previous pickaxes, capable of breaking down new ore nodes, but that also means you’ll need to fork out quite a lot of money to purchase them. Be prepared upfront and grind money so that you can immediately start collecting new ores.

New Island 4 Weapons

The previous update introduced two new weapon types (maces and spears) alongside over a dozen new weapons added to already existing weapon classes. As such, we expect a similar amount of content for The Forge Island 4 update. The devs are still keeping tight-lipped, so there are no official details yet, but as soon as they tease something new, we will update the article.

The Forge Island 4 FAQ

When is The Forge Island 4 coming out?

The developers haven’t yet shared an official date. However, given their desire to take things slowly this time around, we expect it to be released not before late February of 2026.

What is the level requirement for Island 4?

This is just our educated guess: the level requirement for Island 3 was 70, so we expect you’ll need to be at least level 100 to access the new island.

Will I need to have a new pickaxe for Island 4?

Yes, to efficiently mine new ores, you will almost certainly need to upgrade to a new pickaxe, one of several that you will be able to buy on Island 4.

Why is The Forge Island 4 delayed?

Because the developers don't want to make the same mistakes as they did with Island 3. They want to make sure everything is properly balanced and that there's a minimum amount of bugs and glitches before the release.
