All The Forge Peak Ore Traits, Multipliers & Drop Chance
The Winter Update for The Forge introduces several new regions on Island 3, each filled with new enemies, quests, and - of course - ores. Since The Forge is fundamentally a mining and forging game, a major update without new ores would feel out of place. In total, the Frostpire Expanse adds 14 new ores, with another 14 found in The Peak, plus even more located in the Raven Cave. IMPORTANT NOTE: All listed trait values are shown under optimal crafting conditions, meaning 30% or more of the recipe consists of an ore with a trait. Although traits will appear at 10%, using lower percentages significantly reduces their stat bonuses.

The Forge Peak Ore Traits FAQ
The best new offensive Ore Trait in The Forge Winter Update is Voidstar Ore, which gives +33% crit chance and +15% crit damage when it makes for 30% of the crafting recipe, with a slight -15% Max Health debuff.
The best new defensive Ore Trait in The Peak region is Etherealite Ore, which boosts your Health with +35% Extra Defense when it makes for 30% of the crafting recipe.
That honor belongs to the divine Gargantuan Ore, which boasts a staggering 25× multiplier.

To mine any of the Raven Cave ores, you first have to unlock it by completing the Raven NPC quests. You'll also get the Raven Armor set by completing these, so it's a big plus (and it looks cool).
