Full The Forge Santa Shop Guide – Reset Times, How to Get XMas Tickets & Rewards

Get your XMas Tickets!

The Winter update of the Forge is accompanied by a very festive boat hosting Santa's Shop from December 25, 2025 until January 1, 2026. With so much to do around the entire Frostspire Expanse, it can get confusing on what to do with Santa, his quests and shop, which is why our guide will give you a detailed breakdown below.

Where is Santa's Shop in the Forge?

To access Santa's Shop in the Forge, you will have to go to the third island Frostspire Expanse. In order to do this, you have to be Lvl 70 or above. If you are lower, you will have to do a bit of grinding first. Once you are the needed level, just place down the Portal and go to the third island. Santa's boat is at the docks right at spawn.

How to Start Santa's Quests

To activate a quest from Santa, just interact with the NPC on the boat and select one of the three quest types:

  • Fight
  • Mine
  • Forge

You can speak to Santa and activate them all one by one, so that you don't have to go back and forth. Once they are activated, go into the Spider Cave first, as that is where the Santa questline will start. For each quest you complete, you will get a certain amount of XMas Tickets which you can use to purchase some pretty valuable rewards. That's why you should make sure to complete every single quest for most Ticket output.

All Santa Quests in the Forge

Santa's Quest start off relatively easy, but they'll heat up pretty fast. We've assembled this guide below with the information on each quest, as well as our best tips to complete them!

Santa's Workshop Warm-Up (Day 1) [120 XMas Tickets]

  • Forge 3 Weapons
  • Forge 3 Armor Pieces

This quest doesn't have any additional requirements like using a specific ore. We suggest just using 3 of your lowest ore so that you can either craft a Dagger or a Lightweight Helmet.

Cold as Snow (Day 1) [140 XMas Tickets]

  • Mine 50 Icy Pebbles

Icy Pebbles can be mined either by an Arcane or by a Demonic Pickaxe from the second world at the Spider Cave. Of course, if you have money for a better Pickaxe from world three, you can also use that to mine Icy Pebbles.

Santa's Pest Control (Day 1) [160 XMas Tickets]

  • Kill 25 Crystal Spiders
  • Kill 5 Diamond Spiders

When it comes to the Spider Cave, the Crystal Spiders are the lowest HP but they can still pack a bite. Have a weapon on you that's at least 80-100 DMG. You can farm them both at the same location near the back of the Spider Cave, just watch out for your health and you're good.

Santa's Workshop Warm-Up (Day 2) [140 XMas Tickets]

  • Forge 3 Weapons
  • Forge 3 Armor Pieces

The most simple quest out of the three, you have to just follow the same steps and device from day one, as nothing has changed.

Cold as Snow - Frozen Layers (Day 2) [145 XMas Tickets]

  • Mine 10 Icy Pebbles
  • Mine 50 Ice Rocks

Ice Rocks can be mined only with the Pickaxes from the third world. You can start with the Tungsten Pickaxe, but the Aqua Pickaxe has much better stats. Grab that one instead if possible, then go to mines.

Santa's Pest Control - 2 (Day 2) [210 XMas Tickets]

  • Kill 25 Diamond Spiders
  • Kill 3 Prismarine Spider

One thing to note is that if you die when fighting the Prismarine Spider, then come back and killing it, it won't actually count as a kill, which is severely annoying. If you see your HP get too low, back out of the battle until it regenerates. Diamond Spiders will also flank you here and stun you, so watch out not to get surrounded and taken out.

When Do Santa Quests Reset?

If you've completed a day of Santa Quests, you'll notice that you are limited to one quest per type (which essentially means no farming for tickets). So when do the quests reset? The answer is both simple and confusing at first.

Santa's Quests reset every 24 hours. However, the 24 hours aren't server wide. Instead, the time is counted from the moment you complete a quest. So essentially it tracks your 24 hours of that day, whenever you have participated in the Forge event.

Santa Shop Rewards

While a lot of the items in Santa's Shop are useful, there are a few that are simply a must-buy. All of the items with a Limited tag should be taken, so both Swords and both Pickaxes.

FAQ

How long does the event last?

Santa's Shop will be available to you in the Forge until January 1, 2026.

Can I purchase everything from the shop?

We can assume that the developers have calculated that you will receive enough XMas Tickets to clear Santa's Shop. The amount of tickets you get for each quest is different (scaling up with difficulty), which means we can't calculate the final number right now.

Should I get the Christmas Pickaxe or the Void Pickaxe?

Both are end-game Pickaxes which you should grab. Both are also able to get the material needed for the Prismatic Pickaxe.
