This guide will show you how to use Type Soul emotes. Every player knows that effective communication is vital when playing with others online. Emotes are an essential part of any game because they allow you to express your feelings in a much more picturesque way than by using simple text.

How to do emotes in Type Soul

Sometimes, I like to show off my emotes just before an important battle as a way to lighten the mood and reduce stress. To do emotes in Type Soul, all you need to do is follow the steps below:

  • Press / or click on the Chat window in the upper left corner of the screen to open the chat menu.
  • Type /e and add the name of any emote you'd like to use.

For example, typing /e lay would place your character in a lying position. Several emote commands are available at your disposal, and you can use them any time you would like, regardless of which Soul Faction you belong to. Here are some emotes you can play around with:

  • /e cheer - Character cheers with raised arms
  • /e dance, /e dance1, /e dance2, /e dance3 - Different dance animations
  • /e wave - Waves at other players
  • /e laugh - Laughing animation

  • /e taunt - Taunting animation
  • /e shy - Shy/embarrassed pose
