The best specs/combats you can get in Verse Piece right now are Aizen (TYBW), Hakari (Gambler), and Gojo (Limitless). Of the unobtainable specs/combats, Rimuru is by far the best, and if you have it from before, it's still definitely worth using.

Verse Piece Optimal Combat/Spec Progression

If you're a completionist, you'll eventually try to get all the specs in the game. However, you can reach the end game easily by just getting a few of them and with very little effort. Here is the optimal combat/spec progression in Verse Piece right now:

1. Hakari: You can get almost all the required resources quickly from the Hakari Gacha. You can also skip this spec and go straight for Goku.
2. Goku: Goku is a pretty solid spec, and getting all the resources really shouldn't be a problem.
3. Hakari Gambler: Again, spam the Hakari Gacha for the resources and farm the Hakari (Gambler) boss to get the title. It's pretty easy to get compared to how strong it is.
4. Other end-game specs: After you've acquired Hakari Gambler you can go for all other end-game specs.
