You can find the tier list of all combats/specs in Verse Piece in the table above. Generally, any spec that gives you invulnerability will have an advantage over all others. However, if it just has insane damage scaling, like Roland, for example, then that's also good.
The best specs/combats you can get in Verse Piece right now are Aizen (TYBW), Rimuru, Okarun, Roland, Uraume, and D4C. All of these specs have either the best damage scaling or some utility move that makes them the top choice for the end-game PvP and PvE. Below are the ranking reasons and the movesets of each spec.
Verse Piece Spec Moves List & Ranking Reasons
Combat/Spec | Moves | Pros & Cons |
---|---|---|
![]() Gilgamesh (S++) | Passive: When you take damage, deal damage to nearby enemies (scales with Sword). Z: Release a barrage of explosions in a wide area around you (167,660 DMG) X: Release an AoE shockwave and snare enemies (41,900 DMG) C: Summon random explosions in a wide area around you (83,838 DMG) V: Channel a burst of energy towards the front (83,838 DMG) | + One of the best PvE specs in Verse Piece + Insane AoE range and damage on all moves – Subpar single-target DPS |
![]() Roland (S++) | Z: Slash in front of you multiple times (25,150 DMG). X: Unleash a barrage of slices in the area in front of you (26,826 DMG). C: Unleash a barrage of punches at the enemies in front (40,240 DMG). V: Slash and then attack enemies in full AoE around you (57,600 DMG). F: Changes user skills to the second set. FZ: Unleash a barrage of punches at the enemies in front (42,755 DMG). FX: Cast a shockwave towards the front (41,916 DMG). FC: Slam the ground and damage enemies in a small AoE (41,916 DMG). FV: Channel a barrage of slices in the small area in front of you (52,311 DMG). | + A bunch of moves that all deal high damage + Good AoE on all moves + One of the best PvE specs in Verse Piece – Executing all the moves takes a lot of time |
![]() D4C (S++) | Z: Unleash a barrage of hits at enemies in front of you (37,724 DMG). X: Fire a bolt of energy towards the front (41,916 DMG). C: Slam the ground and then launch a shockwave forward (57,006 DMG). V: Slam the ground in front of you (50,300 DMG). F: Gain i-frames for 40s and reflect any damage taken to the attacker. | + Solid damage and AoE on most moves + 40 seconds of i-frames is just OP + The best PvP spec in Verse Piece – Subpar damage compared to other top-tier specs – Damage reflection isn't that valuable in PvE |
![]() Okarun (S+) | Z: Unleash multiple slashes at enemies in front of you (34,036 DMG). X: Dash forward and damage enemies on the path (46,108 DMG). C: Channel and launch a shockwave towards the front (50,300 DMG). V: Channel and unleash a whirlwind of energy in a wide area (63,713 DMG). F: Increase Okarun damage by 18% (unlocked by clearing Turbo Granny Dungeon in 30 seconds). | + Insane damage on all moves + Excellent mobility + One of the best PvE specs in Verse Piece – Lacking AoE damage |
![]() Aizen (TYBW) / Aizen V2 (S+) | Z: Deal damage in a massive area around you (33,500 DMG). X: Repeatedly slash the area in front of you (33,500 DMG). C: Channel explosions in front of you (33,500 DMG). V: After a windup, deal damage in a massive area around you (50,300 DMG). F: Buff Aizen (TYBW) DMG by 40%. | + Insane damage and AoE on all moves + One of the best PvE specs in Verse Piece – Some newer specs outperform it – The buff on F applies only for Aizen moves, which is suboptimal |
![]() Uraume (S+) | Z: Cast an ice blast in a small area around you (33,533 DMG). X: Repeatedly damage enemies in a massive area around you (50,300 DMG). C: Ice spikes erupt in a small area in front of you (41,916 DMG). V: Channel a frost attack in an area in front of you (40,240 DMG). | + Extremely good damage and AoE on all moves + One of the best PvE specs in Verse Piece – No extra utility – Outperformed by specs with i-frames in PvP |
![]() Rimuru (S+) | Z: Quick AoE blast in front of the user (16,700 DMG). X: Fire a projectile that explodes on impact (1,500 DMG). C: Multiple explosions around the user (50,200 DMG). V: Slash all enemies in the area multiple times (23,400 DMG). F: Buff user DMG by 25%. | + One of the best PvE specs in Verse Piece + Damage buff on F counts for swords as well + Excellent AoE on all moves – Lower total damage compared to most other end-game specs – Not that good for PvP |
![]() Hakari (Gambler) / Hakari V2 (S) | Z: Channel a barrage of punches in an area in front of you (18,800 DMG). X: Summon a cargo container and kick it away from you (16,700 DMG). C: Summon two doors and slam them together, dealing damage (20,900 DMG). V: Summon a slot machine that detonates after a short delay (25,100 DMG). F: Channel for a few seconds to gain invulnerability for 40 seconds. | + One of the best PvP specs in Verse Piece + 40 seconds of i-frames is just OP – Just a worse version of D4C – Lacking damage compared to most other end-game specs |
![]() Gojo (Limitless) / Gojo V2 (S) | Z: Cast Red in the area in front of you, dealing damage (11,736 DMG). X: Cast Blue at the target location, dealing damage and pulling enemies (11,736 DMG). C: Cast Hollow Purple in a straight line in front of you (20,958 DMG). V: Stun enemies around you for 10 seconds. F: Channel for a few seconds to gain invulnerability for 20 seconds. | + One of the best PvP specs in Verse Piece + 20 seconds of i-frames is really good + Has a 10-second AoE stun – Very low damage compared to other specs – Is just utility in an essence |
![]() Padoru (S) | Z: Detonate a present in front of you, damaging enemies (21,000 DMG). X: Create a snow zone around you that damages enemies (20,500 DMG). C: Create a small AoE explosion in front of you (29,200 DMG). | ||

![]() Aizen V1 (A) | Z: Launch multiple slashes around you (14,251 DMG). X: Cast an explosion in the area in front of you (15,090 DMG). C: Unleash a barrage of explosions in a massive area around you (15,090 DMG). V: Summon a black coffin in front of you, dealing damage to enemies close to it (20,958 DMG). | + Solid damage and AoE on most moves – Outclassed by most other mid/end-game specs |
![]() Higuruma (A) | Passive: Every time you M1 an enemy, there is a chance that you will get The Judge aura, causing your next V move to deal 30% HP true damage. Z: Slam the ground and deal damage to enemies around you (9,221 DMG). X: Cast explosions on the path in front of you (10,898 DMG). C: Jump and deal damage in a wide area once you land (12,575 DMG). V: Perform a horizontal slash after a delay (15,090 DMG). | + M1 passive can actually be OP against some high-HP enemies – Move damage is very bad compared to other mid-game specs – Using a Sword for M1s is better than using a spec – The M1 passive is borderline irrelevant in PvP |
![]() Hidan (A) | Z: Cast blood explosions on the path in front of you (8,383 DMG). X: Channel a blood slash barrage in a small area around you (14,084 DMG). C: Cast a massive blood explosion in the area around you (12,575 DMG). C: Cast a lightning explosion in a big area around you (15,090 DMG). V: Channel and damage enemies in a massive area around you (18,443 DMG). | + Has 4 moves and solid damage on all of them + Pretty good AoE for an early/mid-game spec – Fairly difficult to get (completely RNG) – Outscaled by other mid/end-game specs |

Verse Piece Combat/Spec FAQ

The best combats/specs for PvP in Verse Piece right now are D4C, Gojo V2, and Hakari V2. All three have an i-frame move, which is invaluable in PvP. Plus, you won't need too much damage, as most players don't have that much HP.
The best combats/specs for PvE in Verse Piece right now are Gilgamesh, Roland, Okarun, Rimuru, Uraume, and Aizen (TYBW). They all have insane damage scaling and plenty of AoE moves, allowing for easy mob-clearing.
1. Hakari: You can get almost all the required resources quickly from the Hakari Gacha. You can also skip this spec and go straight for Goku.
2. Goku: Goku is a pretty solid spec, and getting all the resources really shouldn't be a problem.
3. Hakari Gambler: Again, spam the Hakari Gacha for the resources and farm the Hakari (Gambler) boss to get the title. It's pretty easy to get compared to how strong it is.
4. Other end-game specs (D4C, Roland, Okarun, etc.): After you've acquired Hakari Gambler, you can go for all other end-game specs. The best alternative is D4C as it also has invulnerability.
Now that you've gone through our tier list and learned what the best specs are and what they do, it's time you open Verse Piece and start unlocking them! For more VP content, including our race tier list and fruit ranking, visit the Verse Piece hub here on PGG.
