What platforms is Shin Megami Tensei V on?

If you wonder what platforms Shin Megami Tensei V is on, the answer is only the Nintendo Switch.

At the time of writing, there are no plans for Shin Megami Tensei V to launch on any other system but the Switch. The developers of the game have also not disclosed any plans that say otherwise. For the time being, it appears the Switch will be the sole platform for Shin Megami Tensei V.

Shin Megami Tensei V is an exclusive title on the Nintendo Switch also makes sense. Historically, the series has always been a Nintendo exclusive and has only launched on Nintendo consoles since the series inception in 1987.

Is Shin Megami Tensei V a Persona Game?

Shin Megami Tensei V is not a Persona game, nor does it exist in the same universe. Shin Megami Tensei is a part of the Shin Megami Tensei universe and is its own game.

 However, both the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei exist in what is known as the Megami Tensei Multiverse. Beyond this link and many small others, both games are entirely different from each other.
