How to get the true ending in Sifu?

How to get the alternate ending in Sifu?

To get the true ending in Sifu, you have to complete the game and avenge your father. Afterward, you must replay each level again, but you must spare their lives instead of killing each boss. For each boss you spare, you get a Talisman.

It doesn't matter which order you get the Talismans, but you need Wood, Fire, Water, and Metal before you face Yang. Before the final boss fight, there are four tapestries on the wall in the room. Press up on the D-pad, and one of the talismans will appear and light up the wall. Go up to the second one, and all three will appear at once.

But in doing so, it makes the fight go into phase three, and Yang will steal your talisman. Meaning that if you die even once, the game is over.

While Yang is in phase three, you can not spare him. You have to takedown Yang to end the fight, which will trigger the true ending.
