How to instantly kill enemies in Sifu

Instant kill.

Even though Sifu never explains that you can kill enemies instantly with stealth, there are plenty of opportunities in the game to do so. It only works against the first enemy in the group or against enemies who are alone. Stealth killing is not possible on minibosses, only on regular enemies.

Make sure the enemy does not see you or that you just walked up to them. Hit them hard (Triangle on PS4/PS5 or the right arrow key on PC) to hit them hard and the takedown will appear. Press Takedown (Circle and Triangle on PS4/PS5 or X on PC) to finish them off. Before you can finish off an enemy who saw you beforehand, you must hit them hard twice or three times.

A stealth kill is always possible when you catch an enemy unaware of you. There are many opportunities for it. Just make sure you walk and don't run as you approach them.
