How to play Sifu early access

Want to play early?

Update

Recommended Videos

If you have ordered the Deluxe Edition of Sifu on either PlayStation 4 or 5, you currently cannot download it. Sloclaps are aware of the issue, but the problem seems to be on Sony's end. If you purchased it on PC via Epic Games Store, you can play it without any issue.

Keep an eye on our Why can't I download Sifu article, where we are updating it when more information is known.

Sifu allows players to begin the game up to two days early. The PlayStation Store version of the game includes exclusive PlayStation Sifu avatars and the game on both PS4 and PS5 regardless of the system purchased.

Pre-ordering Sifu on the PlayStation Store or the Epic Games Store gives players the option of playing the game 48-hours early. This is exclusive to the Deluxe Edition, even though PlayStation had originally stated it was for both editions. The Deluxe edition also gives the players an artbook and soundtrack, so even the standard edition has early access.

Instead of playing Sifu on Feb. 8, 2022, players can play the game as early as Feb. 6, 2022, at 4:00am PT. The pre-order offers end on Feb. 8, so if you're planning on getting the game, we recommend pre-ordering.

It is currently available for $39.99 in the standard edition, and PlayStation Plus members receive a 10% discount on the deluxe edition, but it does not have more in-game content. You should buy the standard edition if you just want to play the game and don't care about the soundtrack, artbook, or playing the game early.
