How to spare bosses in Sifu

Vengeance does not lead to true enlightenment.

You must spare all of the bosses to unlock the true ending if you play Sifu a second time. Therefore, it is more difficult for you to beat them since you cannot use a finisher.

The first thing you need to do is defeat the first few phases of a boss. You do not need to pay attention to the takedown prompts when you get to the final phase. Continue attacking them until they're nearly dead. At last, you will see a takedown prompt along with the option to Spare. Press the prompt to spare the boss.

The player can only do this after they have beaten the game. The main character follows this path to enlightenment and the game's true ending. This course will be more difficult since taking them down doesn't require the vast majority of their health to be depleted, but sparing them does.

Each time you spare a boss, you will receive a talisman. Among the talismans available are Wood, Fire, Water, Metal, and Earth.
