Are there Unicorns in Sims 4 Horse Ranch? – Answered

In past installments of The Sims, unicorns were a part of any DLC that included horses. Can the same be said about The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack? Well, kind of. EA has offered a cosmetic alternative that's sure to disappoint many unicorn fans. Is there a way to get a genuine one in-game? Mods for The Sims 4 have not proved fruitful in this regard either, but I'm hopeful for the future.

Can you get a Unicorn in The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack?

While you can technically get the look of unicorns with the Horse Ranch Expansion Pack, they aren't actual mythical creatures. Instead, the only thing you can do is add a horn to a horse's head in Create-a-Sim (CAS). This will make it look like a unicorn, complete with sparkle around the horn. But there will not be any accompanying powers or magical properties, just a dressed-up horse.

How to get Functional Unicorns in The Sims 4

I scoured the internet to try and find a way to get an actual mythical Unicorn in The Sims 4. Sadly, there are not currently any methods to obtain a magical unicorn in The Sims 4. This even includes mods, of which I could not find any. That being said, with the release of horses in Horse Ranch, this could change in the future. For now, players who want a real unicorn are out of luck.
