You ultimately need to keep an eye open for blue sigils, as they will always be a cache nearby. But here are all the collectibles in the Ironroot Basin—both caches and lost journals.

All Ironroot Basin Cache

Cache #1

The first cache upon entering this area is straight to your right, after the new monster encounter also on the right. Hug the right wall and up the blue clouds, where you'll see some mines. At the top, follow the cliff around back to the start. Dash, boost, and double jump to reach the platform with the cache.

Cache #2

As you head towards an anomaly, you'll notice a black barricade you have to go through. Before you do, head to the right of the barricade down in the clouds. Hug the wall avoiding the tons of mines in your path, and you'll find a platform with the cache.

Cache #3

Right before the checkpoint before grappling up to the greenhouse-type building. Instead, go left, and you'll see a blue sigil. You'll once again have to navigate past plenty of mines to find an entrance to a hidden chamber at the bottom. Do not go rushing in if low on health to claim the cache, as there is a beam sniper enemy camping, waiting to take a shot at you.

Cache #4

At the orange door, that you need to activate three switches to open. Behind this building is the cache. But no matter which side you choose—left or right—you will encounter black holes that spikes will erupt out when you get in close proximity. You need to skate or boost jump to the red plasma at the side and strike at it to remove the spikes. You need to do this a few times.

Cache #5

The final cache can be accessed as you head up to the Dross Harvester. The machine with all the purple pipes leading to it. To the left of the entrance leading inside this machine, just hug the wall to the right, and it'll lead you to the cache.

Collecting all five caches will earn you Verse's Suit—this speeds up the cooldown of your boost, allowing you to boost more frequently.

All Ironroot Basin Lost Journals

Lost Journal #1

The first journal is where Cyd is located. Go up the ramp to her left, then at the top turn right. On a rock next to a bush is the journal.

Lost Journal #2

To the left of the greenhouse-style building is another building. Climb the black ooze to access it. Inside you'll find plasma and the lost journal further into the building on a rock.

Lost Journal #3

After you have defeated the anomaly inside the building, in the picture above. Head through the new door that opens up. Just to the right corner inside this room is the lost journal.

Lost Journal #4

When you have broken the first black barricade on the way to an anomaly. The same barricade, which leads you to the mines and a cache if you go right. Go inside and go into the clouds on your left. Follow the clouds and the platform on the left, next to a fallen stone pillar, is the lost journal.

Lost Journal #5

At the orange door, that you need to activate three switches. Go left. Hug the right wall until you fall down, and you'll see the lost journal on your right on a stone box.
