To perform a Light Speed Dash in Sonic Frontiers, players need to press Z on keyboard and L3 on the controllers (push in on the left stick). The Light Speed Dash is a technique that allows players to zap into a forward motion swiftly. This technique is exceptionally effective if you want to get hold of collectibles from tricky spots. For instance, you can use the Light Speed Dash to collect several Rings simultaneously, especially if they are high above the ground. You can also combine this move with the Down Dash and Sonic Boom to maneuver efficiently across the map.

Whenever you come across a line of Rings, use the Light Speed Dash to perform a straight zip motion, and this will help you gather all of the Rings at once. The Drop Dash is a little different from previous Sonic games, and you can gain a slight acceleration boost by timing it right. Speed is one of the most important facets of the game, and you'll need to improve this Stat gradually to bring Sonic up to his top speed. However, this can be a long process, and we recommend mastering the diverse movement mechanics to breeze past the early phases of the game.
