How to unlock Runes in Soulstone Survivors

Soulstone Survivors can create absolutely crazy builds and unleash their destructive power on swarms of enemies. There are various characters, skills, skill tree upgrades, and Runes. As you cannot equip Runes at the start of the game, you may be wondering how to unlock Runes in Soulstone Survivors.

How to use Runes in Soulstone Survivors

Runes in Soulstone Survivors must first be unlocked by acquiring the ability to equip them via the Skill Tree. This top yellow skill requires a large amount of Minor Soulstones for the first unlock. You can put further points, though it will start requiring Major Soulstones, into this to increase the number of Runes you can equip.

Once you have unlocked the ability to equip Runes, you can start unlocking Runes. There are numerous Runes to unlock, and each one has a different method to get it. Some may require reaching a certain prestige as a specific character, while others may require you to complete runs under a specific time. You can hover over Runes in the Rune tab to see its requirement.

To equip Runes, you must have enough Rune Power to hold it. You can also see the amount of Rune Power needed once you have unlocked that specific Rune. It will take some time to unlock all Runes in Soulstone Survivors, but they can provide a huge power boost to your builds.
