Below you'll find a collection of tips and tricks on how to deal with Stan, avoid his attacks and strike back with maximum damage.

Best loadout for Stan boss fight in South Park Snow Day

Before starting mission three, you'll need to equip yourself to properly deal with Stan and the waves of enemies standing in your way. The best weapons for dealing with enemies in this mission are the Sword and Shield and Wand.

The sword slash melee attack deals a good deal of damage in just a few hits. Holding the melee attack button raises the shield for protection if Stan manages to get closer, and it absorbs the damage from his cannons' projectiles. With the Wand, you'll be able to blast Stan with powerful ranged flame attacks, especially if you've upgraded it throughout the mission.

When meeting Jimmy in between areas, choose Wand upgrades such as Blast Wave or Napalm. Blast Wave doubles the attack range while reducing cooldown, and Napalm leaves fire patches for extra damage.

Regarding Powers, go for the Snow Turret and the Bubble Shield, with the former helping you deal damage while avoiding hits and the latter shielding you from Stan's heavy attacks. Try to upgrade the turret with Flaming Balls or Last Blast to deal additional damage to Stan.

Finally, it's time to choose your BS power. I recommend choosing Laser Eyes, Summon Minions, or Invisibility depending on your draw. Laser Eyes is a great way to deal lots of damage in a short time, while Summon Minions helps you overwhelm Stan and keep him focused on destroying your minions. The Invisibility BS is also a good option for healing up if there are no Cheesy Poofs nearby.

Stan boss fight - Tips and tricks

After equipping your character with the appropriate weapons and power-ups, it's time to learn how to approach the Stan boss battle. In the first part of the battle, you'll need to take out Stan's shields by blasting them with cannonballs. You'll find them scattered throughout the map but carrying them makes you vulnerable to his attacks.

Stan's dragon contraption will blast you with fire waves, and to protect yourself, you'll need to climb to higher ground or take cover behind structures. As soon as the Dragon's head lights up, drop the cannonball and find cover to avoid wasting HP. Repeat the process until you've destroyed all three shields.

Afterwards, Stan will drop down from the dragon's head and power up his two-handed axe using Dark Matter. He'll use attacks like axe throws to reach you and your distant allies, and ground slams to damage anyone nearby. Try to anticipate his attack, avoid sprinting and be prepared to dodge and jump out of the attack zones. Stan will also use Berserker Rage, a spinning axe attack that decimates anyone in its path.

Your best strategy is to attack Stan until your Pissed Off meter charges and spawn Snow Turrets to provide covering fire. Oftentimes Stan will focus on destroying the turrets, giving you and your allies an opportunity to strike together. If you have some BS saved up, now is the time to use it. Eventually, his health bar will drop, and you'll receive his Two-Handed Axe.
