There are two new co-op modes: Journey Mode and Arena Mode. These modes allow players to work together. The Journey Skirmish mode is another option. The game is not co-op, but two players can fight each other using their own characters.

Journey Mode: A brand new game mode similar to SpellForce's "Free Game Mode," providing over 20 hours of replay value and unique content. Co-op is also available.

Arena Mode: A brand new endless game mode where you start with a brand new character, fight waves of monsters, buy loot and spells from merchants, and compete with other players. Co-op is also available.

Journey Skirmish: Compete against other players in PvP skirmishes with your journey heroes

The developer has confirmed those features. Nevertheless, they may have come up with more ways for fans to see for themselves how they play together.
