One of the best features added to the base game in the latest Spiderman 2 patch update is the ability to change the Symbiote color. It's far better than the boring default trail, which gets stale after a while. So, here is a quick guide on how to change the Symbiote color in Spiderman 2.
How to change Tendril Colors in Spiderman 2
Many players assume that changing the colors in Spiderman 2 is associated with Spiderman 2. But that's not the case, as it is more of a setting feature. So, before doing anything, update your game to the latest 1.002 patch and then follow the given steps.
- Launch the game and reach the main menu.
- Head over to the Settings menu using the X button.
- Swap until you reach the gameplay section. Here, scroll to the button until you find the Tendril option.
- Upon clicking, you will find three color options for the tendril - White, Black, and Story. Pick anything of your liking and close the menu.
- Voila! You have customized your tendrils in Spiderman 2.
Which is the best Symbiote color in Spiderman 2?
I love selecting the Story option for the Symbiote color instead of the default white or black option, as the story option provides a unique color depending upon the chapter we are in the story mode. For example, your tendrils will be red if you are in the Show Me New York Mission. Also, these colored tendrils provide a much better look if you combine them with other fancy suits for your Spiderman avatar.
