Worst bosses in Splatoon 3 Salmon Run

There are a variety of bosses you can face in Salmon Run, but some are truly annoying to fight and hopefully never spawn. Sadly, you will likely face each of these bosses several times, and typically in the worst moment. Here are the most annoying bosses to fight in Salmon Run in Splatoon 3.

1. Flyfish

The Flyfish is undoubtedly one of the most annoying bosses to face in Salmon Run. It can only be killed by tossing a grenade into both of its jetpacks or hitting it with an explosive weapon you will likely never see in the rotation. Defeating this boss quickly requires teamwork and hoping your grenades don't fall out of its bins. Additionally, its attack can track you across the map and force you to move, potentially into other enemies or enemy ink.

2. Stinger

The Stinger is easy to deal with, but it becomes incredibly frustrating to fight when getting swarmed or other bosses appear. This is primarily because it can track and shoot you clear across the map with deadly accuracy. The last thing you need is a beam of ink chasing you when trying to defeat other bosses or turn in Golden Eggs.

3. Steel Eel

The Steel Eel is a pain to deal with because it is all but impervious to your ink. You have to strike its pilot in the very back end of this boss. As the Steel Eel is quite long, emerges from the water slowly, and drops ink as it travels, this is easier said than done, especially if the map already has a lot of enemies. Fortunately, it will target and agrro a single player, meaning you can lure it away, but this does require some teamwork.

4. Drizzler

The Drizzler is frustrating to deal with it as it can hide under its umbrella and become immune to damage. Furthermore, its missiles drop an annoying rain cloud of enemy ink, dealing damage and forcing you to retreat. The only silver lining is that it is easy to defeat once it shows itself, and you can launch its missiles back. These can instakill the Drizzler, but you have to be in the exact right position to bounce them back.

5. Steelhead

The Steelhead requires precise aim and timing to defeat. You must shoot the charging blob of ink on its head before it launches it, but this can be challenging if enemies surround it. The blob will hit the ground and explode, throwing out massive amounts of ink. You can either work together to splat the ink blob or have the player using the charger line up a fully charged shot.
