Everything we know about Supercell’s newest game Squad Busters

Supercell just announced a new spin-off game called Squad Busters. The game will feature characters from the majority of the company's titles, meaning it is a spin-off of sorts for the company itself. Supercell is the mastermind behind some of the most popular mobile games right now, including Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Boom Beach, and Hay Day.

At the time of writing, the only information we have about the game comes from what Supercell has itself released. The game will feature a whole host of characters (many from Supercell games) that players can add to their squad and upgrade throughout the game. These characters will start out as babies and can be merged or upgraded to create more powerful characters.

There will also be countless maps that players can play on, which seem inspired by the many games the company has released. The game will feature matches where 10 players compete to collect and hold onto the most Gems. Modifiers can be added to the game, causing players to constantly change their lineups.

The game's release trailer features some gameplay, showing the collecting and evolution of characters and the general chaotic, combat-focused gameplay. Some reviews are also up on the Apple Store and Google Store from players who got to access the game early, and so far, the general reception seems to be pretty positive.

Supercell allowed a select few players to access the game back in April as a beta test before releasing it to the world. Now, the game is set to be released worldwide on May 29, 2024. Players can either pre-register on the website or register to stay up-to-date with the game. Either way, they will get a notification once the game is released. As of now, there isn't an exact timeframe for when on May 29 that the game will come out.
