Can you customize the Mantis in Jedi Survivor?

Can I color co-ord with my Lightsaber?

In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you can change the look of various elements with cosmetics you buy and find across the galaxy. While customization plays a big part in the game, you may wonder whether you can customize the Mantis or not because it's absent from the workbench menu. Here's everything you need to know.

Is the Mantis customizable in Star Wars Jedi Survivor?

Unfortunately, no, you cannot customize the Mantis ship in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, which is odd because you could in its prequel, Fallen Order. I loved adding a new paint job or pattern to Cal Kestis' ship to coordinate with my Lightsaber color, so I'm sad that Jedi Survivor doesn't have this option.

You do use the ship less than in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, though, so I'm assuming this is why they didn't see fit to bring the feature back for the sequel.

What customization is in Star Wars Jedi Survivor?

Although you can't customize the Mantis, you have a wealth of other customization options, which almost make up for it. These are:

  • Cal Kestis' clothes
  • Cal Kestis' hair
  • Cal Kestis' beard
  • BD-1
  • Your Lightsaber

How to customize in Star Wars Jedi Survivor

To customize Cal Kestis' appearance, open the main menu and navigate over to the Customization tab, where you'll see your unlocked options for his outfit, hair, and beard.

For BD-1 and your Lightsaber, head to a workbench (the easiest one to access is on the Mantis). Here, you can customize every part of your Lightsaber and droid, including the light beam, hilt, and BD-1's head shape.
