Are there movie Easter eggs in Starship Troopers – Terran Command?

It's been confirmed that Starship Troopers - Terran Command will not rely on the lore of the movies or the book. During a SlitherineTV Twitch interview a few months back, the marketing director, Marco A. Minoli, was asked if there would at least be easter eggs from the movies or book in the game.

Minoli once again clarified that the game would not follow the lore of any movies or books but would create its own. Afterward, he said that fans would find easter eggs that reference the source material and movies.

Minoli did not elaborate, but that is an interesting idea. We might hear about Rico's adventures or the Skinnies. Since the lore happens in the background, the game does not need to dive deep into it to reference anything.

It would be nice to know if players are dealing blows that help Rico or other characters in the book or movie as they fight the Arachnids. We can only wait and see, but even the promise of easter eggs is a great feature to look forward to.
