There are two different editions of Stellar Blade that you can choose from - the Standard edition and the Deluxe edition. Unfortunately, neither edition is available as a physical disc copy, only digital via the PlayStation Store.

Pre-ordering either edition of the game provided the following bonus items:

  • Planet Diving Suit for Eve
  • Classic Round Glasses for Eve
  • Ear Armour Earrings for Eve

There are some primary differences between both editions of Stellar Blade, from price to additional items for players to take advantage of. We've listed all of those details below, to provide clarity on what to expect from each one.

Standard Edition$69.99 USDBase Game only
Deluxe EditionUSD 79.99Base Game

Should you get the Standard or Deluxe Edition of Stellar Blade?

While it is a personal preference overall, in terms of the value of the additional items provided, we would definitely recommend the Deluxe Edition.

While the bonus items that some games offer are purely cosmetic, the Deluxe Edition of Stellar Blade provides a good balance of both cosmetic and practical items. Along with some spiffy glasses, you not only get an outfit for Eve but extra ones for teammates Adam and Lily and even the drone Adam uses to accompany you in your travels.

Arguably the most valuable part of the package, though, is the 5,000 Gold currency and 2,000 SP EXP that you start the game with. This gives players a big head start early in the game for obtaining items from Shops and also leveling Eve's abilities more quickly.

If that's your preferred experience, this combined package makes the extra $10 USD well worth spending. Also, if you initially purchase the Standard Edition of Stellar Blade, you can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition at any time for that same $10 USD price.

That concludes our guide that answers if the Stellar Blade Deluxe Edition is really worth it. We hope you found this helpful, and let us know if you decide to get the Deluxe Edition of the game. Do you think it's worth the extra few bucks?
