How to save in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

Back to the oldschool days.

Playing a new game can feel intimidating at times, especially when a team of enemies is around every corner, just waiting to deplete your health. In Stranger of Paradise, you should always have an up-to-date save. But you might be wondering how saving in Stranger of Paradise works.

While most games feature auto-save and at-will saving, Stranger of Paradise does not. In this game, you must find a save point (or in this case, a Cube) to save your progress. There are several Cubes scattered through each location, and saving at each one of them is good practice.

You can also save on the mission menu if you don't feel like you can handle another dungeon at the moment. When you hit Save, look for a red square in the corner of your screen. This is the visual cue that your game has been saved, as it doesn't pull up viewable save files. This is an instant save. The cube will appear before quickly disappearing.

Outside of using these two save points, you won't be able to guarantee your progress. If you have picked up some good gear, proceed carefully, or head back to the last Cube you found to save your progress.

Outside of gaming, I have spend my time collecting manga, collecting anime figures, and watching anime with my naked cat.
