Tears of Themis Vault 1st Try walkthrough – Blizzardous Threads of Red event

The Tears of Themis Blizzardous Threads of Red event runs from January 12, 2023, to February 2, 2023, and is open to all attorneys who have completed the X-Note Main Story 2-28. The final building in the Villa Courtyard is called the Vault, which combines mechanics across all of the buildings.

All Vault 1st Try puzzle solutions in Tears of Themis

The 1st Try is fashioned similarly to the Ink Study, so you must interact with all sparkling objects to obtain clues. You won't be able to trigger any of the puzzles without doing so. We recommend following this walkthrough from start to end to ensure that you don't miss any of the collectibles along the way.

Mechanical Lock puzzle #1 and Artifact - Equinox Gold Coin

Start on the male lead's side. Turn left and interact with the bookshelf to trigger the first Mechanical Lock puzzle. If you're unable to trigger it, please interact with other objects in the room first to obtain clues.

To solve the puzzle, you need to create a path from the Start tile to the End tile of the same color. Hold and drag until you've created a path to lock it in. Reference the image above for the exact paths you can use. Solving this puzzle will reward you with the Artifact called Equinox Gold Coin.

Mechanical Lock puzzle #2 and Silk Pouch

Next, turn right and interact with the other bookshelf in the room to trigger the second Mechanical Lock puzzle. If you're unable to trigger it, please interact with other objects in the room first to obtain clues.

To solve the puzzle, you need to create a path from the Start tile to the End tile of the same color. Hold and drag until you've created a path to lock it in. Reference the image above for the exact paths you can use. Solving this puzzle will reward you with a Silk Pouch.

Jade Plate puzzle

Switch to Rosa's side. Head right and interact with the display case featuring the sword to trigger the Jade Plate puzzle. If you're unable to trigger it, you must interact with other objects in the room first to obtain clues.

To solve the puzzle, you must rotate four layers one by one until the red lines create a path for the pearl to enter the center of the plate. Reference the image above for the exact layout you need to copy. Moving an outer plate will also move the inner plate next to it. With that said, we recommend working from the outermost layer to the innermost layer. Don't be alarmed when the inner plates move as you'll be working inwards. Solving this puzzle will reward you with a Silk Pouch.

Lock password

Interact with the door at the center of the room to input the password for the exit. If the door isn't sparkling and you can't interact with it, you must get more clues by interacting with every object in the room first. The lock password is: 9233. You'll automatically leave the room and unlock the next one called 2nd Try.
