Best ways to earn Reputation and level up fast in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown

In Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, you can explore the city of Hong Kong and take part in various activities to earn Solar Coins and Reputation. While the former is important to purchase stuff, Reputation is needed to level up your character and unlock new items and quests, so here are the best ways to earn it (and to level up).

How to earn Reputation fast in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown

Reputation is XP that you can earn by completing objectives and activities around the map. Here are some of the best ways to level up your Reputation in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.

Completing tasks

Completing tasks is important in TDU Solar Crown to progress the story and unlock new objectives and items. You are going to complete the primary tasks anyway and earn XP, however, don't miss out on the secondary tasks. You can see the list of available tasks on the map screen as shown in the above picture. Some of these are too simple and you can complete them to level up fast. For instance, The Streets' Domination task earned me 4000 Reputation just for visiting the Street HQ.

Races and events

Even at lower levels, there will be several events in your area like circuit races and races against time. Open the map and look for these racing events as I've shown in the image above. Set a waypoint, reach the location, and start the race picking your best car and tuning the Driver Assists to your liking. Completing these races earns you Solar Coins and at least 2500 Reputation points per round. As you level up, more races appear across the map.

Collecting Radiant Prizes

Radiant Prizes are located around each district in Hong Kong. These can either grant you Solar Coins or Reputation (see first image above) as you drive over them. So make sure to collect as many while traveling when you come across these free reward points. Radiant Prizes also pop up on your mini-map and map with a special symbol which you can see in the second image.

Driving around exploring the map

You have to complete certain objectives to earn Reputation with the previous methods, but this way you can do so by simply free roaming and traveling through Hong Kong. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is an open-world game and you are awarded XP for exploring the map and discovering new districts.

You receive XP for your Reputation each time you enter a new area driving your vehicle or discover points of interest like gas pumps and dealerships. Furthermore, you also get XP for driving through unvisited roads. The unexplored roads are marked in grey whereas the ones you've been to are shown in white on the mini map. As you keep discovering new regions and roads, you'll keep getting bonus Reputation.
