Best Hitchhiker Builds in Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Time to spring a trap!

All the character's abilities are important to their success in the game, allowing them to support their teammates, complete activities, or just perform better overall. The Family's goal is to make sure the Victims don't make it out alive, and Hitchhiker is one character on the team who can make that much easier with his deadly traps. Take a look at some of the best ways you can build his attributes and perks to allow him to play to his full potential.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Best Hitchhiker Build Guide

Hitchhiker can be a very valuable character for the Slaughter Family because his traps can help locate Victims, make it easier to collect blood, and even allow you to get an easy kill. He is also one of the fastest in the Family, allowing him to chase after Victims with ease and squeeze through gaps and crawlspaces after them. You can use some perks and attributes to boost these stats even more and make him a force to be reckoned with. Here are some of the best options I found useful for him:

Best Attributes for Hitchhiker in Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Not only is Hitchhiker already one of the most speedy characters of the family, but his main trap ability can potentially help gather blood much faster when leveled up. With these two talents in mind, you can increase his attributes to boost those even more, making him the primary blood collector and the most athletic.

These are the attributes I focused on for him:

  • Blood Harvesting: Determines the amount of blood gathered from blood buckets, from wounding or executing Victims, and the total of blood that can be carried at once.
  • Endurance: Determines the Family's total stamina capacity, along with stamina drain, regen rate, and melee attack frequency.

Johnny has some unique perks that really focus on making his trapping skills better, but along with that, you can equip him with some other perks that will continue to accentuate his already speedy talent and allow him to collect even more blood.

Remember, you can only equip three perks at a time, and you'll need to unlock them from the Skill Trees, so choose wisely. You can also create multiple loadouts to try out different options. These are the perks I found best for him:

  • Venom: Victims caught in traps take 1 HP of extra damage per second for a few seconds.
  • Wire Frame: You can traverse gaps and crawl spaces faster.
  • Serrated: Victims hit by the Perk holder take 1 HP per second of extra damage for the next few seconds.
  • Dinner Bell: Victims caught in traps will be highlighted, and your max stamina will be increased for a few seconds.
  • Blood Runner: Stamina consumption is reduced by a percentage when carrying a blood vial that is 50% or more filled.
  • Blood Banker: Max blood storage capacity is increased.

These are just a few of the best attributes and perks that I found the most effective for Hitchhiker, but you can mix and match any of the ones above or add in a few different ones to try out other options. Making multiple loadouts is the way to go to switch things up easier and find the best set for you.
