Best build types to use in The Finals

Light, Heavy, and Medium builds, all have a different set of weapons, specializations, and gadgets to choose from. Besides the fundamental difference in their base health, these tools give a purpose to each build and you can't go wrong with any. Here's how I rank the classes in The Finals, but feel free to try all of them to see what works best for you.

1. Medium build

Doesn't matter if you're a beginner or have played The Finals for hours, a Medium build operator works for everyone thanks to easy-to-learn mechanics and powerful gear. With a base HP of 250, the Medium build is a must-have in a team as they're good for attacking and have fantastic support abilities such as Healing Beam, Defibrillator, and Jump Pad. It also has a good selection of weapons with the main highlight being the AKM, which is perhaps the most versatile gun in the game.

2. Light build

For the players who like movement and are always on the offense, Light build is made for them. This nimbleness comes at the cost of the lowest health of all classes in The Finals (150 HP), however, by using proper movement techniques, utilizing gear, and having a good aim, you can easily take on multiple enemies. Moreover, Light build has a selection of high-damage weapons like the V9S Pistol and the SR-84 Sniper. This class needs practice to master and may seem slippery because of the fast mobility.

3. Heavy build

I like the Heavy build character thanks to its high HP of 350 and capabilities that work equally well for attack and defense, but they lack movement because of that. For instance, the Mesh Shield, Dome Shield, and Barricade and perfect to hold off enemy attacks, whereas, you can use the Charge N Slam, RPG, and C4 to make way through objects and walls like they're paper. All the weapons available for the Heavy build (be it the LMGs, Flamethrower, or Sledgehammer) are very powerful.
